Overview

Photos and Description of this 6 bedroom holiday home in Plymouth

6 Bedrooms, 4 Bathrooms, Sleeps 16, AC, Ocean Front, 3 Acre Yard, 1000ft deck

Wow! A home from another era. Direct waterfront air conditioned estate on Plymouth Harbor. Antique Victorian home on 3 acres with rolling emerald green lawn to waterfront. Swim and boat on your own private beach. We provide 6 kayaks and a sailboat with small outboard for our guests to enjoy and explore the oceanfront area free of charge. State of the art grill and two large decks overlooking harbor with tremendous privacy. Old English croquet and volleyball court on back lawn. This property is the perfect summer vacation on a waterfront estate for all your friends and family. Pets possible - please ask. This home is also available off season. Stay for a long weekend and just relax by the sea at any time during the year.

We supply 6 kayaks for our guests to use free of charge. Our guests really love to launch the kayaks right from our waterfront property. I also have a mooring right in front of the house so you can use that too. If you want more adventure, you can rent jet skis or a larger motor boat from a boat rental company right down the street. This is a real treat because you can explore all the secluded beaches in the area, tour the harbor, go fishing, etc.

Spend your whole day relaxing on your very own private 1000 sq ft waterfront deck. Although there is so much to do right in Plymouth, you may end up spending most of your time on the huge main deck right off from the kitchen (deck dimensions 32' x 30'). It has 3 umbrella tables and spacious seating for 16 people. This deck also has a large stainless steel gas grill for all your grilling needs and separate propane lobster pot cooker, so you can cook 10 lobsters at a time right on the deck. This is the perfect place to gather with friends, have a couple drinks with great food, or sit back quietly in the sun with a book and bathing suit. If you get hot, just turn on the outdoor shower and cool down. There is also another deck off of the refinished barn with tons of privacy and shade and breathtaking ocean views. Watch your family and friends have a friendly game of volleyball right below in the soft emerald green grass. Also, another large outdoor enclosed shower is right down the deck stairs. You'll feel like you're a million miles away from it all.

In this home you will find three living rooms and three flat screen TVs with high speed wireless internet. This home is perfect for the extended family. These three large living rooms all nicely furnished with plenty of space to stretch out. In the main living room in the center of the house, there is a 50' plasma TV so the whole family can gather around and watch the game. If you do not have a laptop or tablet, we do have a laptop available for guest use in one of our living rooms. For the summertime, we have both central air and air conditioning window units, so you'll be comfortable and cool even on the hottest summer day. In the fall and winter seasons we have a new state of the art heating system, and guests may also build a fire in the large fireplace in the formal living room or the wood stove near the kitchen to get into the holiday spirit.

What a FANTASTIC stay!

  • 5 of 5

This was the trip of a lifetime, and it would not have been the same if we had stayed anywhere else. The 5 of us had more room than we knew what to do with. The boys tried out different bedrooms on different nights, and found all of them to be perfect. Each has its own unique style, and once they stopped getting lost (quite humerous!) they were able to play and have a grand time going up one staircase and down another.

Our three children had a fantastic time running around on the lawn and we had a great time exploring the beach for shells.

I have never felt so comfortable anywhere away from home. We were able to "move" right in for our one-week stay, and the only thing I regret is not being able to stay longer. There are books and toys for the kids (the owner even gave them a football), sheets, towels, and everything else you need to feel immediately at home. It is clean, extremely well-kept, and enough to make any family or group want to move in for good!

The owner went out of his way to meet us on our timeframe and explain everything to us. He was fantastic.

The property is close to EVERYthing, including Plymouth Rock, Plymouth Plantation and the Mayflower II.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful of a time we had, and how much was added to our vacation by staying in this home. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone going to visit the area! Everyone I know is jealous after seeing our vacation pictures...We will return if we ever have the opportunity.

THANK YOU for adding so much to our Thanksgiving trip, Jim!

Katie & John's wedding week

  • 5 of 5

Most amazing 4 nights spent here for my daughters wedding week. Perfect place for the photographer, hair & make-up artist to come and begin wedding festivities. This is so worth doing as opposed to having your wedding party stay at hotels. The owners are very kind and make you feel very comfortable. I hope I have an opportunity to stay here again. Thank-you Jim Oshea!!!!!!!!!!! Beautiful home.

Delightful property rental for family vacation

  • 5 of 5

Our family enjoyed a delightful week of vacation in Plymouth, MA. The house was very accommodating for our group of 13 people. The outbuilding was a wonderful area for ping pong and many games of corn hole! The canoes and volleyball provided many hours of fun! We enjoyed the fire pit on the deck, the propane burner and large lobster pot for a lobster boil, the close proximity to downtown Plymouth, grocery stores, restaurants and the train station in Kingston to travel to Boston. We highly recommend this rental, and would enjoy staying there, again!

Wonderful

  • 5 of 5

Very pleased with the accommodations and view. They have just about everything anyone could think of from board games, ping pong on and on. Jim even brought us fresh oysters for all of us to try. This property lacks nothing for a family gathering. You could even have a rainy day and still have plenty to do.

Awesome house!

  • 5 of 5

We go away every year for a family reunion - amount of people range from 14-16 each year. This house was great with plenty of entertaining room inside and out. We have stayed at many houses and this house was particularly well stocked - spices, coffee, hand soaps, shower materials - and lots of towels, sheets and blankets! The view was spectacular and just a short mile walk into town. Lots of room for teenagers to spread out, play Frisbee, fly kites and just hang....and kayaks were a great bonus for all of us as well (we kayaked across to a sandy beach - just be sure to watch for the tides!) Overall a great place for a large group and Jim was a pleasure to work with!

Perfect!!!!

  • 5 of 5

We arrived on the property on Thursday for our daughters wedding to be held at St. Peters Church with the reception at Indian Pond CC. We were met by the owner who showed us everything we needed to know. Such a warm inviting home with plenty of space for our family and the bridesmaids. We had all the space we needed on the day of the wedding for the hairdressers and make up artist to get the girls ready for the wedding. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with my family!!!!

Plymouth
Car: recommended

In Plymouth, you truly get the best of both worlds, but without the Cape traffic! Take the high speed train from Plymouth to Boston if you want to explore one of America’s most vibrant cities, or take the ferry right from Plymouth Harbor to Provincetown to experience the very best Cape Cod has to offer. See your very first humpback whale on a small whale watch leaving right from Plymouth Harbor, or et the kids have the time of their lives on a Pirate Cruise! Visit Plimoth Plantation, located in walking distance from our home, a living museum demonstrating how history was forged in America. Grab a beer and a burger on Plymouth Beach at Sandy’s, also located about a mile away from our home. Walk down Long Beach, a pristine sandy beach with break taking views and where history seems to have stood still. Another couple miles in the other direction of our quite estate and you will find the most vibrant bar and restaurant scene on the South Shore! In downtown Plymouth, there are dozens of bars and restaurants for you to choose from, almost all with great water views. But the best part of your stay will come right on your very own oceanfront estate, where you can have a waterfront cookout on our 1000ft deck with your family and friends!
