We have a family farm in Devon, having been told to diversify, so we thought what and where, but as we seem to have cool wet summers in the UK, it is why we came and purchased this Villa in the peaceful Sea Caves area. An ideal place to relax, sunbathe, walk around the coast from
Roger purchased this villa in 2007
So we can recharge our batteries in a stunning peaceful location.
beautiful Sea Views from the rooms, catches the early morning sun so soon warms up in the winter and the roof terrace with its own private Jacuzzi has sun all day long. If you need shade try the rear garden
GOOD POSITION CLOSE TO SEA. PROPERTY NEEDED WORK WHEN WE ARRIVED, NO HOT WATER, HOT TUB NOT FUNCTIONING FOR
3 DAYS. MUST SAY NOT THE START WE EXPECTED, BUT WHEN WORK CARRIED OUT BY EXCELLENT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
TEAM WE HAD A GOOD HOLIDAY. PROPERTY IS LOOKING A BIT TIRED AND IN NEED OF SOME ATTENTION.
We have stayed in Cyprus every spring for the last sixteen years. Usually for three to four weeks studying the Orchids and migration. The choice this year to use the Villa proved a perfect solution . Bird watching from the roof terrace and the Akamas only a short drive away. Couple this with comfortable beds. Spacious living areas and all the other creature comforts one would need for a perfect holiday.
We have booked next year for a month.
The Villa is situated 100 meters from the Sea Caves, one of the most beautiful places in the region, 15 KM from Paphos, not far from Coral and Corellia's bays and not far from Agios Georgios.
The villa was very clean, very well maintained, fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable.
We received perfect instructions how to get to the place.(It was crucial because we arrived at night)
It was a bit annoying that we had to pay extra for WI-FI (!!!) and for UKTV (Which we didn't...).
The only major problem is that all air condition sets in the Villa are connected to a timer (An hour or two hours). In the bedroom, for example, the air condition was cut off after an hour (!!!), and we had to wake up, and turn it on again, and again and again...
Without this problem, we would recommend the Villa to our friends or relatives without hesitation.
Our family with children returned to the villa Cresta again this August after the great vacation that we had at the villa last summer. The villa is very comfortable, clean, and spaceouse with three bedrooms, large living room, two bathrooms, conditioners, wi-fi, and a very well equipted kitchen. It has everything necessary for a comfortable stay. It has a special gorgeous view of the sea caves from the vill windows and the sea breeze. The owner and the manager have been very helpful in answering all our questions and communication with them had been very easy. One of the best beaches, Coral Bay, is just 10 min drive from the villa. The Phillipos supermarket on the way from Coral Bay and has everything you need. We also liked the fish taverna Marina near the Coral Bay whcih has very reasonable prices and a good variety of fish dishes. We travelled to the mountains and monasteries and had a wonderful time. We are eager to come back again next summer.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay In Villa Cresta. It is much bigger than it looks in the photos. Spotlessly clean, well equipped, gorgeous views and very good communication with the owner. We didn't use the hot tub so cannot comment on that. Cannot find any fault, apart from another week would've been lovely! Would recommend to anyone who enjoys a relaxing holiday, lovely seaviews, walks in either direction, to St George's Bay one way and Oniro by the sea the other way for a cooling drink. A car is preferable and will allow you to see more of this beautiful island and its' friendly people. Imogen's Tabepna in Kathikas, 20 minutes into the mountains, is a must for good local food and very friendly staff. Thank you Roger for a lovely stay and to Elaine and Barry for the spotless villa on arrival, the very welcome, welcome pack and change of sheets and towels. All in all, a wonderful holiday.
Beautiful, super clean and cosy. The villa is situated on the sea caves part of Peyia, Coral Bay, a short drive from the main town but still hid away for peace and quiet.
My favourite room was the living room and balcony, looking out onto the sea views every morning was wonderful and so relaxing. The massive kitchen with everything we needed was next to a lovely patio with a bbq with beautiful plants and flowers.
I loved the ensuite bathroom in the main bedroom, the villa also has another bathroom with bath and shower and downstairs toilet. Top floor had a hot tub which we didn't have the opportunity to use but will next time! We bought the wifi and sky tv package so in the evenings if we didnt want to go out we happily relaxed watching our favourite soaps. Overall the price and ease of booking this villa was 10/10, Roger was very helpful and prompt when contacted. Have reccomended to friends and family and will be booking again in the future.
The Sea Caves / Coral Bay/ St George Bay Pegeia area
There is a variety of things to do in and around the surrounding area of Paphos.

You can find all this and more at Latchi Harbour near Polis only a short drive away. Closer to Paphos there are jet ski and boats to hire at Coral Bay
Don’t feel like driving your own boat then why not take one of the organised boat trips and see Cyprus from the sea. There are glass bottom boats which will take you for a trip around the bay and the Akamas peninsula.
Did you know for instance that Cyprus is famous for the Aphrodite Festival, which presents an opera annually using the castle at the harbour as its backdrop? Paphos bird park is just off the road close to St Georges Harbour. There is also Georges Ranch for horse riding and a reptile park close by.
If you prefer to stay on the ground and relax by the lakes fishing, there are plenty of lakes, the closest being Mavrokolymbos, which is near to Coral Bay.
