About jennifer warwick

We live in the farmhouse, 150 mtrs from the cottage and have run the cottage as a holiday home on and off for over 30 years. My husband grew up with his family in the cottage.

What makes this cottage unique

It is the remote rural situation that makes this cottage unique. The open views can be enjoyed from the comfort of the sofa in the sitting room. Secluded and private but at the same time the farmhouse is a stones throw through a small wood should you require us.

As Close to Heaven as you can get!

Yet another holiday in this wonderful cottage that we have been visiting for over 18 years - stayed for 3 weeks this year and will again next. If you need to have a complete relaxing holiday then this is your place - no internet and only a very limited phone signal - heavenly!

What a wonderful place!

  • 5 of 5

Had a great long weekend stay in this super cosy cottage. The most wonderful views and landscape all around, owners very friendly and accessible if required but otherwise the house is totally private. Wonderful garden when Poppy our flatcoated retriever loved to sit and smell the wind! Very comfortable bedrooms, kitchen has all you would need, very cosy comfortable lounge with mega sized couch.

fantastic, many thanks.

Fabulous property!

We had a great time at the cottage. It was so peaceful and quiet. The horses and sheepdogs were an extra bonus and so friendly.

Jennifer the owner was great and very welcoming. We hope to be returning to the property at some point 😀?

Comfortable Country Cottage

  • 5 of 5

Perfect location to get away from the pressures of everyday life and perfect for recharging your senses in dark skies. Leave your technology gadgets at home- they are not needed . Take a picnic and a good map to explore the Borders, cross over into Northumberland, whip over to Dumfries and Galloway, up to Edinburgh - all with good roads and far less traffic and livestock and wildlife in abundance.

Fantastic Friendly Home away from Home

  • 5 of 5

What a fantastic wonderful stay. The accommodation is second to none with all the small additional items you would not bring but could really do with being in the cottage. The views are stunning. The walks around the farm fantastic. A warm friendly welcome from the Warwick,s. The enclosed garden was brilliant for our Labrador. All in all a fantastic stay and just as good if not better than we thought from the description. We would definitely consider seriously about returning for another visit.
