Puerto Pollensa, situated in the North East of Majorca, less than one hours drive from Palma airport, the majority of the road connected by first class motorway.

Wonderful stunning scenery, beautiful sandy beaches, and a laid-back friendly atmosphere. The sheltered curving horse shoe bay, set against the stunning backdrop of Tramuntana mountains. Originally a fishing village, Puerto Pollensa has retained its charm and the time old tradition of the evening paseo, or stroll. On warm balmy evenings visitors and locals, wander past the pavement cafes and restaurants along the famous shaded elegant pedestrianised Pine Walk towards the fashionable Hotel Illa D?Or with prestigious Bellresguard Estate set just behind on the Old Formentor Road and facing the mountains. No doubt possibly the finest quality development in the port, with some properties costing up to 1.3 million Euro and smaller ones averaging over half a million.
The Church Square has an abundance of good restaurants, the church with its chiming bells overlooks the square garden area, where weekly Wednesday markets are held.
The old inland town of Pollensa should not be missed with Boutique hotels, quaint old buildings and lots of interesting restaurants, and of course the Sunday market.
There is a golf course just outside Pollensa old town (9.holes) and another spectacular one, at nearby Alcudia, Alcanada (18.holes) plus several others in the south of the island. Both courses have magnificent situations and there facilities are open to visitors and non playing guests.
Every Sunday morning, in the old town of Pollensa and on a Wednesday morning in the port, weekly markets are held. There are water sports, boats for hire and varied sailing excursions on the schooner TUDOR DAWN.
