A beautiful cottage with a friendly atmosphere. Warm and cozy with everything you could wish for including TV, wifi, washing machine. Outstanding scenery. Great base to visit surrounding areas. Lovely local pubs. Food was fantastic. Rosie is very friendly and helpful. We just loved everything about the cottage, and the Cotswolds. Hopefully to return in 2017.

Lovely Stay In Chipping Campden

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent 4 wonderful days in the Twine Cottage in Chipping Campden. The cottage was very clean and cosy - just perfect for the two of us. It is just a short walk to the high street and to the Costwold Way trail. We loved it so much we are going to return as soon as we can!!

Quaint, cosy chocolate box cottage

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here with our two medium dogs.

The cottage was cosy and quaint. We had everything we needed for our week stay. The owner Rosie has thought of everything to make the most of the cottage and the location. The location of the cottage is excellent with local amenities and walks of the surrounding country side from the doorstep. We did not use our car at all during our stay.

Would highly recommend the cottage but with caution as would definitely return next year!

Twine Cottage -> great choice, highly recommended.

  • 5 of 5

End of May/beginning June, we stayed in Twine Cottage in Chipping Campden,

a very charming thatched cottage, with a lovely private garden.

The cottage is very comfortable, very clean and well equipped.

The garden is very nice to have breakfast on a sunny morning. Both the cottage and the garden are a warm welcome to relax after a long day of beautiful walks in the fields/forest or sightseeing through the Cotswolds villages.

The village is the start of the CotsWolds Way, but also less longer walks can be done from here. Lots of information is available in Twine Cottage and the Tourist Information.

Within only a few minutes walk you are in the High Street of Chipping Campden, where you will find all you need : pubs / good restaurants / fine shops with local products / nice tea-rooms with great cakes / 2 supermarkets and lots of beautiful typical Cotswolds cottages/houses.

Twine Cottage is a very good choice. We had 2 wonderful weeks.

It was an amazing stay ! We are looking forward to come back.

Location

Car: not necessary

The Cotswolds is charming all year round and visiting the Cotswolds is a wonderful experience. Officially the largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in England, it isn’t hard to understand why the Cotswolds is known and loved by the English and foreign travellers alike.

Many come to the Cotswolds for the wonderful country walks, cycling along the highways and byways, exploring the wonderfully unique boutiques, each charming town and village have to offer and relaxing with a fabulous cream tea or sitting in front of an open fire at the end of the day.

Spring is a wonderful time to see the lambs and bluebell woods. The many unique Cotswold Cottage Gardens and country houses are a great way to enjoy the lighter summer evenings, whereas Westonbirt and Batsford Arboretum comes alive with its vast array of stunning leaf displays in autumn. And the Christmas markets are a wonderful way to start the festive season. Really, the Cotswolds has something for everyone of all ages and all tastes.

Twine Cottage is also within easy access to other quaint Cotswold villages such as Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton on the Water and Broadway and National Trust properties of Hidcote and Snowshill Manor and the larger towns of Stratford Upon Avon, Morton in Marsh and Cheltenham.

For walkers, the Cotswold Way starts in Chipping Campden.
