Perfectly located apartment in city centre

Rocio, the owner, kept in touch prior to travel to ensure we would easily find the apartment and that she could be there to greet us. The apartment is on the third floor (there is a lift) and overlooks a small street which runs parallel to Larios, the main shopping street. It is surprisingly quiet at night after 11pm (the cathedral bells don’t ring between 10pm and 10am). The main sleeping area (for a couple) is set back into the rear of the apartment. A steep ladder accesses another sleeping area for a couple on top of a mezzanine (above the kitchen). Plenty of hot water for showers and a small, well equipped kitchen (we only had breakfast in the apartment and enjoyed the great selection of nearby restaurants for other meals). We would happily return to this perfect, compact apartment. Would suggest it is ideal for a couple; a squeeze for 4 people.

So sweet and convenient

This is a great find in center of town. Everything is walkable. Bed comfy, kitchen complete, everything clean and with art and personal touches galore. Highly recommend.

The perfect apartment in the perfect city. :)

You can not find a better location than this apartment, situated literally right in the centre of the city centre, sandwiched between rows of nice restaurants. On a weekend night, you will find amazing Spanish guitar performers serenading the patrons on this street, and we have more than once perched ourselves on the small but perfectly formed balcony, enjoying the performances on the street below from the comfort of our own home (for this truly is a home) with a nice glass of Malaga wine in our hands.

And even though you may expect the night's rest to be a restless one due to the location and the noise from the streets, in truth we found it surprising quiet once we close the windows and move into the inner sanctum of this apartment, where the bed is sensibly situated as far away from the window as practically possible.

Special mention goes to Rocio who is one of the most friendly and kind host you will find in Malaga, and she is absolutely right when she describes this apartment as special and different. :)

It is quite obviously a living home, and not one of the many cheaply furnished "investments" you see now in Malaga whose sole purpose is to generate rent from visitors. The furnishings and some of crockery is of an astonishingly high quality, and you really feel like you have been graciously invited into the home of your host.

And as Rocio very rightly describes, there is a beautiful loft of love and illusion where you can spend a lazy afternoon on the very rare days it does rain in Malaga.

In summary, I have only one thing to say about this apartment: if you are looking for a nice apartment which has had a lot of love showered on it in the perfect location for the historic centre of Malaga, then you really cannot do better than this home away from home.

Super!!!!

We stayed for a week and within a day we felt at home in Rocio's appartment! It is a beautifully decorated, cosy and comfortable house, situated in the middle of the historic centre and a quiet place to go back to after a full day of visiting museums in Malaga, bicyclerides along the seaside, visits to the many restaurants and terrasses in the city etc.

In short...we really liked this place and would have loved to stay longer!

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung/Wonderful apartment

Die Wohnung ist wirklich genauso hübsch, wie sie im Internet aussieht. Der Balkon ist allerdings spanisch und eher ein zugebauter Erker und es handelt sich um eine 1-Raum-Wohnung, das 1 Schlafzimmer ist also nicht separat. Insgesamt ein wunderschönes, sehr gut ausgestattetes und fantastisch gelegenes Apartment. Mitten in der City, Sehenswürdigkeiten (Kathedrale, Festung, Museen) alle bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen und der Hafen und Strand ebenfalls. Wenn man mal abends nicht ausgehen mag, kann man auch sehr angenehmen zuhause bleiben. Absolut empfehlenswert!
