Catalunya (the top end of Les Rambles, marking the start of the old city quarter), three stops away from Liceu (the stop for Opera House and for the popular food market of La Boqueria), four stops away from Drassanes (the bottom end of Les Rambles, next to the sea), and seven stops (14 minutes) to Plaça Espanya (where the Fira de Barcelona, the main venue for fairs and congresses of the city, is located, at the base of Montjuïc).
The apartment is part of a listed building named “Casa Eduardo Puig” (after the Spanish tycoon that build it for him and his family in the beginning of the 20th century; Mr Puig occupied the first floor, and his children the remaining five floors). The apartment we are offering is located on the 4rth floor, overlooking the neighbourhood; we also have a 65m2, one-bedroom apartment on the first floor of same building available for rental. The whole building was renovated around the year 2000, when it was converted to a luxury apartment block, and features a spacious entrance hall with the original old-fashioned lift (which has been restored), complemented with a modern, high-capacity, faster lift. There is a concierge in the building Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00, who can collect any deliveries while you are away.
