Exclusive, luxurious, sunny apartment (135 m2) in the centre of Barcelona, which has just been fully refurbished. Comfortable for groups of up to 6 guests, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, large living room and kitchen, and a sunny terrace.

The apartment is located on Avinguda Diagonal 405, between Balmes and Rambla de Catalunya, just a few minutes away from Passeig de Gracia - where some of the most emblematic Modernist architectural works, such as Gaudi's Casa Milà (“La Pedrera”) and Casa Batlló, can be found. The neighbourhood is lively, offering a great choice of of restaurants and bars covering an extensive range of cuisine styles and prices, shops and entertainment.

Many of the best BCN Restaurants are within walking distance: Lasarte 2*, Moments 2*, Roca Moo 1*, Cinc Sentits 1*, Gaig 1*, Hisop 1*, Angle 1*, Loidi, Fermí Puig, Windsor, Galaxó, Petit Comité, Murmuri, Roig Robí, Alma, The Mirror...(Stars given according Michelin Guide)

It provides a perfect base to visit and explore the city, ideally connected with buses stopping right in front of the building (including Barcelona City Tours buses) and an underground station (Metro Diagonal) a 5-minute walk away. Metro Diagonal station is two stops away from Pl. Catalunya (the top end of Les Rambles, marking the start of the old city quarter), three stops away from Liceu (the stop for Opera House and for the popular food market of La Boqueria), four stops away from Drassanes (the bottom end of Les Rambles, next to the sea), and seven stops (14 minutes) to Plaça Espanya (where the Fira de Barcelona, the main venue for fairs and congresses of the city, is located, at the base of Montjuïc).

The apartment is part of a listed building named “Casa Eduardo Puig” (after the Spanish tycoon that build it for him and his family in the beginning of the 20th century; Mr Puig occupied the first floor, and his children the remaining five floors). The apartment we are offering is located on the 4rth floor, overlooking the neighbourhood; we also have a 65m2, one-bedroom apartment on the first floor of same building available for rental. The whole building was renovated around the year 2000, when it was converted to a luxury apartment block, and features a spacious entrance hall with the original old-fashioned lift (which has been restored), complemented with a modern, high-capacity, faster lift. There is a concierge in the building Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00, who can collect any deliveries while you are away.

Mandatory Non-smoking indoors (smokers may use the terrace provided that they close the terrace doors behind to prevent the smoke from entering the flat).

No pets allowed (in consideration to potential customers with allergies).

Great central location

We were visiting our daughter who is studying abroad in Barcelona and this was a great place for 5 of us to stay. The subway is close by and it is very easy to catch a cab in front of the apartment.The master is large with a nice modern bathroom attached. The other 2 rooms are quite small but my kids (20 and 24) said that the beds were so comfortable! Also the second bath was great with the 5 of us. There was plenty of room for us all to relax in the extra large living room with 2 large couches and dining room with large windows. We especially loved sitting on the deck at night. Eduardo was very accommodating and easy to work with from the beginning to the end.

Lovely, residential apartment in relaxed neighborhood

This beautiful and spacious apartment is slightly removed from the touristy, hustle and bustle of center-city Barcelona. It does require walking or taxiing to many of the must-sees of Barcelona, but the safe and beautiful neighborhood makes up for it. The apartment is clean and sunny with a well-equipped kitchen and very nice bathrooms. The beds in the twin rooms are somewhat small by American standards, but comfortable nevertheless. Eduardo is a most accommodating host and arranged for our airport transportation, which was a huge help. There are wonderful restaurants and shops right outside your front door.

Wonderful apartment, great location

5 of us stayed in this apartment for 4 nights, 22 - 26 September, it was wonderful. The location is great for all the tourist attractions and really close to the metro. The balcony was lovely to sit on whilst having breakfast and in the afternoons when we returned from our travels around the City. Eduardo was lovely and really helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Perfect in every detail!

Clean, quiet apartment close to anything you would want to do in Barcelona, yet away from the crowds. Many good eating establishments and shopping surrounding the apartment or walk 10-15 minutes to other's. There is so much to see in Barcelona and all easily assessable from apartment. The outside terrace was a real plus for us since we love being outside and had coffee there every morning and wine in the late evening. Ed is a perfect home owner and available if you need him. Only two of us (we each had bedroom and bath), but easily roomy enough for 4-6 people without feeling overcrowded. Totally recommend this apartment for anyone spending time in Barcelona.

Perfect! Lovely apartment. The perfect space for a family with teenage boys. Great location.

We loved everything. It was just on the edge of the very busy tourist area so it was nice to come back to some peace and quiet. Yet close enough that everything was in walking distance, the metro, or a short taxi drive. Plenty of great restaurants and shopping around.

Eduardo, the owner could not have been more helpful and was just delightful. We would definitely stay their again.
