About the property

An oasis in the heart of Venice

Charming bright apartment of 80 sqm with exposed beams on the third floor of a historical building just 200 meters from the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge. Entirely renovated in 2010 and furnished with taste and elegance with modern furniture.

The apartment is located in Rialto Campo delle Beccarie, in the market area. The name is due to the presence, at the time of the Republic of Venice, of many butcher shops (beccarie in Venetian).

Although central, it is located in a very quiet and secluded courtyard, close to a narrow canal creating an atmosphere unique. Just walk down the stairs to immediately immerse yourself in the heart of the famous and historic Rialto Market

The house consists of entrance hall, kitchen, bathroom with bathtub, living room and double bedroom. Upstairs, in the loft, is the second bedroom with a double bed (if you prefer you can split it in to two single beds) and a bathroom (without shower). In the living room a double sofa bed is available for 2 additional people. An heavy and elegant curtain separates the two areas for more privacy during the night. From the leaving room's windows you can see the famous bell tower of St. Mark. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge and freezer. Heating and air conditioning system as well free WiFi internet connection are available. The Rialto Mercato's public water taxi stop it is just 300 meters from the apartment

Tourist tax and cleaning fee are included in the standard rate. A fee of 30,00€ it is requested for late check-in after 10:00 PM and 50,00€ after midnight

If your trip in Italy includes a stop in Rome, do not hesitate to ask since I have an amazing apartment there.

Hello everyone, I'm Guido and I live in Padua 40 km from Venice but I am in Venice almost every day. I own 8 rental apartments in Venice for tourists and where I stay my self whenever possible. My assistants live in Venice in less than 15 minutes from the apartment and will be happy to welcome and help you.

Outstanding Property in a Wonderful Location

My family of 5 stayed in Guy's apartment for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The apartment was spacious, and the location was fabulous. We were literally steps away from the fish and produce market and a 5 minute walk from the Rialto Bridge, but we were just far enough away from the crowds that we felt like we had an authentic Venetian experience. I would strongly recommend this property to anyone; you won't be disappointed!

The apartment location is excellent, in the heart of Venice, you can do everything on foot from here or the stop of vaporreto. The market is right next door, you can buy all the fresh produce in Italy without having to go all day dining restaurant outside (this is an advantage because the life in Venice is expensive) This is the only place in Venice to shop of food easily.

The apartment is very clean, quiet, well heated in winter ! . All equipment of the apartment work very well, (tv, washing machine, oven, microwave etc. ..) It also has a lot of charm. Truly I would not have find better in Venice, I was very happy with this location and the owner is very friendly , honest and I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful apartment in a great location

The apartment is very clean, well furnished, spacious and full of charm. We especially loved the view from the windows and the very good position, in the heart of Venice a short walk to Rialto, closed to the vaporetto lines, restaurants, cafes, and major sites such as San Marco Square. When you get out of the apartment you can immediately breaths the Venetian atmosphere. We were in five and the apartment were comfortable and with a good privacy thanks to the upstair. A very great unforgettable stay!

A great experience in venice

I cannot recommend this property more highly. Everything you require for a self catering holiday in Venice is provided in a central location. We were met by the friendly local representative of the owner, who guided us to the property and gave tips on local amenities. If we needed help during our stay, she lived close at hand and told us to contact her (this was not required).

The large flat is in a picturesque location by a canal in a local residential area only 6 mins walk from San Marco. Lots of good local shops, cafe and restaurants are within 3 minutes walk. Very quiet, very few tourists.

There were 6 in our party. Two single beds and a bathroom upstairs were perfect for more privacy.

If we come back we will stay at this property again.
