RECEPTIVE STRUCTURE. Albinaia is a property with the unique charm of Tuscan farmhouses, enhanced by the beauty of the open-face stone façade and the large, bright and airy rooms, furnished with taste and maintaining intact the typicality of Tuscan houses. It is surrounded by the green woods of a beautiful estate of about 780 hectares, a few kilometres from Sarteano, a charming medieval village known for the fortress towering above it and for the Etruscan tombs, unique in their kind, especially the famous Tomb of the Infernal Quadriga. The house has the advantage of being located in a territory rich in natural, cultural and artistic attractions: the beautiful gentle hills of the Val d'Orcia with ancient borghi such as Pienza and Montalcino, or the proximity of art cities like Siena, Perugia and Arezzo, but also Rome and Florence, just a couple of hours’ drive away thanks to the proximity to the motorway exit of Chiusi-Chianciano Terme.
The house has two floors connected by an external terracotta staircase. On the ground floor is the spacious living room with working fireplace, TV room and large eat-in kitchen. Also on this floor is a double bedroom with adjacent bathroom with tub, a twin bedroom with adjacent bathroom with shower and a twin utility room with adjacent bathroom with shower and washing machine. The kitchen has access to the pergola which overlooks the swimming pool. On the first floor is a double bedroom with working fireplace, small private sitting room and en-suite bathroom with shower, another double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with separate bath and shower and a twin bedroom with adjacent bathroom with shower.
The park of the property extends for about 4000 sq m and is planted with grass and enriched by many indigenous trees of the area such as firs, beeches and splendid oaks. It is surrounded by almost untouched woodland, the view of which can be enjoyed from the pergola with its comfortable sitting area and large table with chairs where guests can partake of delicious alfresco meals, making this property the ideal place in which to seek an authentic rapport with nature.
The rectangular-shaped swimming pool is 20 metres from the house, on a lower terrace, and is reached directly from the garden. It is situated to the side of the house and is visible from the portico. The pool measures 6 x 13 m with a depth varying from 1,50 to 2,50 m; access to the water is via large steps. It is lined in white PVC and has chlorine purification.
