Beautiful Northfork Farmhouse

  • 5 of 5

This home is surrounded by farmland and is serene and very comfortable. It is fully equipped in the kitchen. For outdoor relaxing and fun, the garage is loaded with equipment. When we arrived, cool breezes and beautiful skies set the mood for a lovely vacation. Vineyards & wineries are a short drive or bike ride away too. You’re a quick ride to the beach for gorgeous sunsets and the night skies are star studded. Our family had a great stay and we hope to return in the future. Thank you Peter & Carla for thinking of everything!

Fantastic

  • 5 of 5

We went out on the island with hopes of a nice stay. Instead we had an amazing stay!! The weather was awful, but who cares!! The house was perfect for us. The location in wine country is wonderful, the kitchen was what made it for us!! We are all big cooks in our family and the kitchen allowed us the family time gathered around the island, with a wonderful stove and refrigerator to really do what we enjoy most, cook together and drink wine. Peter and Carla were gracious hosts, the house was immaculate and clearly recently updated. I honestly almost hesitate to submit this as I would love to keep it my family secret, because it really is perfect!! We look forward to returning and hope for nicer weather to enjoy the beautiful outside!! Thanks so much for a great family time

Charming farmhouse, clean and comfortable, beautifully decorated, peaceful setting

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at this home for a few days with my boys. We explored the area during the day and relaxed in the late afternoon/evenings. The boys were very happy with the available video both off the kitchen and in the basement. The area restaurants were excellent. It was fun to see a few chickens wandering around the yard. Peter was attentive and accommodating, very nice experience.

The home was very cozy and spacious at the same time.

The location was perfect because it was in the same town as my Dad. His house couldn't accommodate all of us for a holiday visit. I had my son, daughter-in-law, and grandson plus my daughter with me. The two bedrooms upstairs worked out perfectly for the adults with my son and his wife in one room and me and my daughter in the other room with a twin and a queen. The other room downstairs with a twin day bed was perfect for my grandson's pack and play and a quiet separate place for him to sleep. The basement area was simply set up like a family room, unfortunately the space was nit heated and was too cold to use due to the sub-freezing temperatures we experienced outside. But we easily improvised by temporarily bringing the downstairs TV to the spacious livingroom area upstairs and attaching our Roku to entertain ourselves during Winter Storm Grayson. It worked out quite well given the isolating blizzard conditions we experienced during our short holiday visit. The kitchen and dining room were roomy. Peter and Carla were very available to answer our questions and checked in with us several times to ensure we were doing okay. They were also very accommodating in working with us on our check-out day (which was also the day after the storm) while we figured out if we could travel on the roads or if we needed to stay another night. We ended up leaving that day but later in the afternoon. The grounds around the house make for some nice country views and a roomy area for our grandson to run around (although they were short periods outside due to the cold temperatures we experienced). Overall, the experience was as pleasant as it could be given the weather we faced and I would definitely consider staying again.

Wonderful Stay

  • 5 of 5

The house is beautifully decorated and very clean, with comfortable beds and newer applicances. The location was perfect for a relaxing fall getaway for our group of 4 women. Quiet and peaceful, with an easy drive to town, shopping, and the area wineries. It was very well supplied with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the outdoor shower and the private deck in the back of the house.
