Excellent property with friendly and helpful owner.

  • 5 of 5

Perfect location with lots of inside and outside space and facilities making it an ideal base from which our cycling group was able to explore the Ardeche and Cevennes Park. The swimming pool was perfect for easing aching muscles in preparation for the next days outing. Cycling the Ardeche Gorge and stopping to swim by the Pont du Vallon-d'arc being a particular highlight. I would certainly recommend Mas of my Father to friends and family.

Stunning villa and a lovely couple

  • 5 of 5

After a very long drive we finally arrived at the villa, which was a little hard to find, but we got there eventually! We were greeted by Claudette and Christian, who were very warm and welcoming and showed us around.

The villa itself is a beautiful 400 year old farmhouse set in the stunning hills. It has real character and period charm, but is fitted with all the mod cons that one needs for a week away.

The property is well maintained and the pool is cleaned every morning.

It's about 10 minutes to the nearest town, and 15 to the nearest big town. Location of the villa is very quiet and is not overlooked, which was great to have that privacy for the pool etc.

Christian and Claudette were very helpful, and in fact helped us when we broke down in the town. They did everything they could to make our stay brilliant, nothing was too much trouble.

We did struggle with the language barrier, but nothing that some charades and pen and paper couldn't help!

We will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family and would love to stay again!

Très bon séjour dans un bel endroit

  • 5 of 5

  • 4 of 5

  • 4 of 5

  • 5 of 5
