The apartment is located in a quiet and residential neighborhood, with markets, cafes, butcher, baker, and supermarket within a block or two.
Also, you are only about ten minutes' walk from the theaters, restaurants, and nightlife of the Montparnasse area.
In the first three decades of the 20th century, Montparnasse was a thriving artistic and literary centre. Many modern painters and sculptors, new novelists and poets, the great and the young were drawn to this area. Its ateliers, conviviality and renewed Bohemian lifestyle made it a magnet for genius, some of them French but many of them foreigners.
It is also 10 minutes away by metro from St Germain and Notre Dame area.
Alésia is now a sought-after residential district where real estate prices are rising, given the proximity of Montsouris park, Gare Montparnasse train station, a whole host of stores. The district is lively and very popular with families and young people. Another interesting feature of Alésia is its architectural diversity: Haussmann-style buildings, single-family residences, post-war architecture, plaster facades, etc. Rue du Lunain is one of the only streets in Paris to have nothing but Haussmann-style buildings. The district also has a large number of artists' workshops. The famous painter Édouard Manet even depicted Alésia in his 1870 painting 'Effet de neige à Petit-Montrouge' (Effect of Snow on Petit-Montrouge).

Die Wohnung entspricht in vollem Umfang der Beschreibung. Sie ist absolut ruhig und man ist aufgrund des guten Metro- und Busansclusses sehr schnell in allen interessanten Gegenden. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung lässt keine Wünsche offen.
We had a great few days in Paris, the apartment is very well located(3 minutes walk from Metro line 4), amazingly quiet even though is close to a crowded boulevard. Very spacious even for 4 people, well equipped though it could use a little more maintenance (very small things with cupboards and doors not closing very well). The apartment is very secure (2 locked gates before even getting to the door of the apartment). There is a public underground parking in front of the building, a lot of shops in the area. Owners are very helpful and friendly.
The overall highly positive reviews are a testament to this apartment. It is clean, comfortable, airy and well decorated. The location in a courtyard ensures peace and quiet. We especially enjoyed the balcony each evening after an active day in the city. Also convenient is the proximity of Rue Daguerre with its various food shops. Sandrine (Miss Key) gave us a thorough introduction to the apartment and its facilities. No need to look further for a one-bedroom apartment. Absolutely first-rate.
Sandrine was very helpful checking in and out. The apartment is huge and light, and has every convenience. It is also very quiet, and it is nice that the toilet is separate from the bed and bathroom. I will definitely want to stay here again.

L'appartement est exactement comme sur les photos , tout y est de l'éléctromenager au linge de maison et linge de toilette .
Il est très propre , la literie est parfaite , du rangement , de l'espace et du calme et une terrasse trés agréable pour prendre Le soleil que demander de plus !!!
De plus il est très bien situé proche du métro , des commerces , des taxis .
Nous y avons passées un très bon séjour .
Au plaisir d'y retourner un jour .
Nos alojamos durante una semana a principios de abril 2016. La recepción el día de nuestra llegada fué perfecta. Mr Valiant nos estaba esperando y fue muy amable en explicarnos todo el funcionamiento. También fue muy amable al ofrecernos que nuestro hijo, que estudia en París, pudiera pernoctar alguna noche con nosotros sin coste alguno.El apartamento estaba limpio; y equipado tal y como se describe en el anuncio. Está muy bien comunicado y en un barrio muy tranquilo con todas las comodidades cerca. Nos pareció una zona muy familiar sin mucho turismo, para disfrutar de una estancia en el París de los parisinos. El apartamento está muy cerca de las paradas de metro y autobús, y hay tiendas y restaurantes en los alrededores.
*Visit the famous catacombs (10 minutes on foot) 'Place Denfert-Rochereau'.The Catacombs, which form a veritable labyrinth beneath the very heart of Paris, were created in the galleries of the former quarries whose stone was used to build the capital.
*Visit of the Montparnasse tower (10 minutes on foot), the Montparnasse Tower is in the ideal location to discover all of Paris. It is the most central high point in the Capital. Facing the Eiffel Tower, it is the best location for taking in the loveliest monuments of Paris. The 56th floor is reserved for tourists visit.
* Visit of the Eiffel Tower (15 minutes by metro 'Line 4 and 6'): The Eiffel Tower was built by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Exposition Universelle, which was to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of the French Revolution. Its construction in 2 years, 2 months and 5 days was a veritable technical and architectural achievement.
*Visit of the Cathedral Notre Dame De Paris (10 minutes by metro 'line 4'): Tradition has it that Notre-Dame’s first stone was laid in 1163 in the presence of Pope Alexander III. The new building fell under the new art movement known as the gothic style (or the ogival style).
