The Lodge at Larchmont is a beautifully decorated and newly equipped 1 bedroom cottage, with off road parking, close to the centre of Bath. It is quietly located in its own grounds, just removed from the bustle of late night City life - for those who prefer a little quiet time or privacy. Awarded 4 star gold by Quality and Tourism.
It is newly renovated, with fresh and modern high-end furnishings and kitchenware. An inviting lounge decorated in warm reds and cream houses a 3 seater sofa, a new Smart tv with dvd player and a shelving unit offering games and books if required. An oak dining table with comfy armchairs fits easily between the cosy sitting area and a fully-equipped kitchen - which offers a fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, electric oven with induction Hob and a microwave - providing options for complete self-catering if desired.
There is Sophie Conran crockery and modern `designer` kitchenware available, housed on smart oak shelves and rich Granite worktops. Glass splash-backs and Harvey Jones kitchen units complete a practical and smart, ready-for-use kitchen area. Adjacent is a compact Utility area, with a washer/dryer, shelves and drying rack- and beside that a clean white and blue fully-fitted shower room complete with toilet and washbasin.
Upstairs under the eaves, soft silver-greys and creams frame a stunning large bedroom, with pretty soft furnishings around a sumptuous Queen-sized double bed. Occasional chairs and soft lighting create a relaxing atmosphere, whilst well-designed but hidden wardrobes and scattered baskets allow for storage of all your travelling clothes and accessories. There is a further dressing table and stool and radio with ipod docking facility.
There is only room to sleep two in this cottage, but plenty of space both up and downstairs within which you can really stretch out, relax and enjoy any spare time during your stay.
There is a designated private car parking space out front your property or the Bath Spa train and bus stations are about a 20 minute walk away.
I just wanted to send you a quick email to say how lovely Larchmont was. It was a perfect base for me for the meetings I had and I am sure I may well use it again. Please pass on my thanks to the owners for a wonderful little cottage with everything you could need for a relaxed stay.
Ps Robert was really sweet too. I am used to hotels, so I felt quite pampered to be greeted and shown everything!
