Fun Place in Bar Harbor
We enjoyed our stay at The Crow’s Nest. It was within easy walking distance of everything in Bar Harbor. We especially enjoyed the nearby coffee shops and wine bars. The owner was very helpful and friendly. It is an older property with a lot of charm as well as a few quirks. The kitchen was very well equipped. We made good use of the popover pan. It is also a child friendly property, complete with baby equipment as well as toys.
Great location and gracious owner
Our group of three women truly enjoyed our stay. The house was in a great location, just on the outskirts of downtown, in a quiet neighborhood. It’s an easy walk to the attractions of Bar Harbor as well as the shore walk along the ocean. The house is quaint, cozy, and comfortably furnished, with some of the charming quirks you might find in an older home, but the kitchen and bathrooms were well-equipped and there was plenty of room to spread out. The owner, Marge, lives next door and was happy to answer our questions and share great recommendations for activities and restaurants. We all enjoyed getting to know her and would definitely stay in her charming home again.
Crow s Nest
Great location! Easy walk into town to get shuttle bus to Acadia. Great town , restaurants and shops.
The house was perfect 3 bedrooms well equipped.
Marge is a great host with great suggestions!
Enjoyed our stay in BarHarbor especially early morning walks along the oceanpath
Three generations in Bar Harbor
Our family had a wonderful time exploring the area. We will be securing this property again. Marge great and very helpful. 😊😊😊
Perfect house close to town
The Crow’s Nest’s location is enough for a great review. An easy walk to downtown Bar Harbor with an Adirondack chair view of Acadia from the front lawn. That would be enough but this place is so much more. A comfortable three bedroom house with a well stocked kitchen. Marjorie was both friendly and helpful. We’re pretty familiar with the area, but if you are not, she’ll help navigate. I would recommend this house to anyone, particularly if you are interested in leaving the car(s) in the driveway and walking.
We loved staying here!
This was the perfect place for our family of 5 to stay during our visit to Acadia. We were able to walk to Bar Harbor and easily drive in and out of Acadia. Just the right amount of space for us inside the house and easy parking. The house is cute and charming. Access to the Shore Path is fantastic. The owner is delightful and made herself available to answer all our questions and provide great recommendations. We have no complaints and would definitely stay here again. It was wonderful in all aspects!
The Shore Path is a very special place. I've always felt fortunate to be so near. I'm so glad your family enjoyed your stay at the Crows' Nest. It was truly a pleasure to meet you all and know that you left with such good memories!
This home is within walking distance of hiking trails, the town pier where fishing and sightseeing boats and cruise ships dock, movie theaters, restaurants, art galleries, and the center of the shopping district. The entrance to Acadia National Park is less than two miles away. There is a right of way to the 'Shore Path,' a beautiful one mile walk along the ocean's edge. Kayaking and bike rentals, deep sea fishing, whale watching and walking tours are all nearby for your vacation fun! There are 2 bedrooms and full bath upstairs and a bedroom and bath downstairs.
Other Activities: whale watching hiking sightseeing biking eating lobster!
