About this property

The Big Orange-Newly Renovated

The perfect spot for your family! We finished the complete remodel and it is ready for you!! The Big Orange is located just across from Petit Bay State Park. Fishing, playground, and swimming are within walking distance. 3 boat ramps are ready for use at Petit Bay as well. Piddle's is just across from the Petit Bay entrance (within walking distance). They offer food and cold beverages. They also have music on the weekends. There are several restaurants within 5-15 miles, if you are tired after a day on the lake and don't want to cook!

The Big Orange can be rented alone or in conjunction with The House on the Hill, VRBO #736592, which is located in close proximity. They are separated by the woods, yet connected by wonderful small discreet sidewalks. You can rent the two properties together for a large family/friend gathering! The House on the Hill sleeps 10-13, with huge living spaces.

The Big Orange is perfect for a small group, or up to 20 occupants if rented in conjunction with The House on the Hill!

See you soon!

Beautiful view of the lake during winter season
I enjoyed the views from all the family room windows, gorgeous during the winter. You can see the lake and sunsets. The driveway definitely needs to be redone and steam cleaning of some of the furniture. Regarding cleaning there should have been more than an eighth of a role of paper towel and a used washcloth was in the shower. It made me wonder if it was cleaned before me. The owner was responsive and kind to work with.

Amazing stay!
My husband and I took out three sons here and we had an excellent time. The house looks even better in person than in the photos. It was very clean and had everything we needed to cook, clean, sleep, and shower during our stay. The views from the living area were gorgeous and we loved spending time around the fire pit. We are definitely going to book again in the future during a time when it's not as cold.

Family Trip
The house and location were perfect for us. We needed to be close to Park Hill with enough room for my family to rest and relax. We couldn't have chosen a better place, the first morning we were there we watched deer grazing in the front yard.
