Superb 6 bed house, with private swimming pool, near to beach

Superb 6 bed property with 4 bathrooms located on the outskirts of the pretty town of Vila Nova de Cacela 12 km from Tavira and 12 km from Vila Real de Santo Antonio and only 1.5 km from the wonderful beach at Manta Rota. The house is within walking distance of all amenities, including supermarket, food shops, restaurants and bars and is a 3 min drive to the beach. The house is within a few minutes drive of five superb golf courses, including the new Jack Nicklaus, Monte Rei course. The house has its own private swimming pool and rear terrace area with a barbecue and dining table. It has a living room with large TV. The house does not have a garage. The managers live nearby and are on hand to assist in anything that you may require, from general information to recommendations of restaurants and places to see and visit.

The beautiful Ria Formosa: The Ria Formosa in the Algarve is a beautiful labyrinth of lagoons separated from the sea by a coastal dune system which is broken up by various natural inlets. It is one of the most important nature reserves in the network of wetlands that links Europe and sub-Saharan Africa. The Ria has an enormous variety of natural habitats that provide refuge, feeding and breeding areas for an infinite number of flora and fauna and is a haven for birds.

The beaches of the isles of Faro, Barreta, Culatra, Armona and Tavira form a natural barrier to the ocean. Behind are the dunes, sometimes just a narrow strip and sometimes wider and then come the labyrinth of lagoons and small sand islands and channels. At low tide other salty habitats are uncovered forming marches and salt marshes.

The kitchen, is luxuriously appointed with granite counters and wooden cupboards. All the equipment is of the highest quality. and the kitchen is very well equipped with all that you might need. Please note. The house does not have a garage. The managers live nearby and are on hand to assist in anything that you may require, from general information to recommendations of restaurants and places to see and visit. We can organise a chef to come to the house and cook a Portuguese meal for your family.

A very roomy property in a convenient location.

Over a three week period we had various family members join us. At max. we were 7 adults and 4 children, and there was adequate room. Room sizes were good and bathrooms were very acceptable. The kitchen was tight when everyone was there but we often ate outside. The lounge was light and roomy. Generally, the property was clean and well-presented.

Some small changes would make a big difference. e.g.Wi-fi would be very helpful. Back-up water heating, to ensure an adequate supply of hot water. (We had a some cloudy days, and had little or no hot water on a couple of April days.) A property folder with appliance user- guides and local information would have saved time.

Fantanstic holiday villa

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at the villa. There were 14 of us with an age range from 2 to 80. The villa is huge and all bedrooms are spacious. The villa was very clean and well equipped for our needs. The pool and bbq area are nice and the pool is gated which is a bonus when youngster are around. It is a nice 20/30 minute walk to the beach with plenty of stop off points on the way. A breakfast in the Mar's Bar is a must! We did not hire a car as there were so many of us but for those that have difficulty walking taxis are available for a few euros, although at certain times of day they are hard to get. Lidl is the best for a big shop but a taxi there is about 15 euros, worth it though as they are very reasonable. Manta rota beach pool is worth a visit but the food was a bit disappointing for the price. There is not a lot of space in the garden of the villa, although enough for us and the garage/porch area is great for the kids to play in as it is out of the sun. All in all a lovely place. It is a quiet area and not much nightlife but lovely bars and restaurants around here. Thanks to Andrew and Else for the use of your villa

Great place to stay with your family

We had a wonderful time in Vila Nova de Cacela. The villa was enormous even for 11 of us and split into 3 levels allowing the noisy kids to sleep downstairs. The pool was a very good size and the BBQ was indeed very handy. Shops including Spar and fruit and vegetables market, were 5 mins from the villa. Beach was gorgeous and around 15mins walk away. We would highly recommend this place and reasonable pricing 👍😀

Lovely Large Villa With Everything You Need

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa. It was clean and comfortable for the 14 of us staying and at no time did we ever feel like the villa was too small to accommodate all of us. The pool was great and i liked the fact it was gated, as we had three small children with us. The basement of the villa was amazing, with two double bedrooms down there, it's own bathroom, kitchen and living area. On the ground floor there was another kitchen and bathroom, plus another bedroom and on the first floor a further 3 bedrooms.

The location was perfect, very quiet, but with everything you need on the doorstep. We hired a car and visited Manta Rota beach (although you could walk there) and Monte Gordo. Tavira is only 15 mins drive away and has a really good shopping centre with lots of shops and restaurants. We also drove to Zoomarine and it took approx 50 mins to get there.

Andrew and Else were wonderful and went that extra mile to make sure our stay was perfect. Andrew even arranged for us to have some food essentials at the villa for when we arrived as we didn't get there until 11pm.

I highly recommend you visit Sabinos restaurant which is on the next street and try their fillet steak on a rock which you cook yourself. It was delicious. Also Pizza Dela was great and they even do takeout!

I would not hesitate to recommend this Villa to anyone visiting the Algarve :-)

Firstly I would like to thank Andrew and Else for their help in arranging our stay, really lovely couple. Everything from booking the house to the day of our departure was done promptly and efficiently - so thank you for all your help. We really enjoyed our break at Vila Nova de Cacela. The house was lovely, clean and well maintained and accomadated our party of 14 with no bother. There was loads of space and had everything you need plus more. The pool and BBQ area was brilliant - well laid out and could seat 14 no problem. The location was excellent - the house was within walking distance of the supermarket, bank, chemist and shops. The train station is only a 10 minute walk and we used it to visit Villa Real and Travia - its only a couple of Euro and service was excellent. On the third Sunday of each month there is a large street market which takes over the town - we spent an enjoyable couple of hours browsing and getting a taste of local life and is well worth a visit. The town and beach of Monta Rota is only a short distance from the house - we walked it a few times. Absoultely beautiful beach and lots of restaurants really lovely place to visit.

Overall we had an absoulte ball and would highly recommend a visit to this area and would have no hesiatation in recommending the house for a place to stay.
