Public transport: Near crossing of Tram 4 and tram 3.

Friendly, welcoming apartment
Sven was very helpful in giving instructions on how to find the place. Beds were very comfortable and a few details like a bottle of water, coffee and snacks made our arrival very welcoming !

Lovely apartment in a great neighbourhood
We stayed for 6 nights with our two children (ages 14 and 9). The apartment was small but perfectly sized for us and very comfy. The location was great. We went out quite a few times in the local area but also found it easy to walk into central Amsterdam (about 30-35 minutes walk) so didn’t use public transport much. My boys enjoyed playing in the park most mornings. We also made quite a bit of use of the piano!

What a lovely place!
Really nice flat with friendly hosts. Right next to a nice park which was great in the day time, although there was some noise at night. Good area and only 50m from the tram stop. Great to have a piano in the flat, it felt like being at home! Thanks to Sven for quickly sorting out our requests.

Great apartment & well placed for sightseeing
Claire & Sven were warm & welcoming as was the small apartment. A real 'home from home' with wonderful bed / bedding & lots of hot water when needed. The apartment is superbly situated a short 15 minute tram ride from the bustle of Dam Square & surroundings & is within a twenty minute walk to the Museum Quarter. We thoroughly enjoyed our time sightseeing in Amsterdam & other regions & the apartment was always a nice refuge to come back to at the end of the day. Thank you Claire & Sven - we hope you will have us again sometime in the not too distant future. Susan & Stephen

Five night stay for work and sightseeing.
The apartment was nice and clean but quite basic. It is a conversion of one floor of the flat above where the owner lives. It does have its own entrance though which is a bonus. The area is great, there is a lovely park on the end of the street. It is easy to get into the city by tram or metro, you can also walk most places. We were working a convention at the RAI convention centre which is 20mins walk away so the location was great for us. There are an abundance of nice restaurants near by so we had lots of choices for food. On the Saturday night the owners of the property (above us) had quite a loud party which was a negative. It went on until 4am and two of us did have to work all day on the Sunday. I know these things happen but it would have been nice to have a warning so I could have got earplugs. On the Sunday night we were sat up late chatting (we were a little loud, just talking no music or anything) after we got in from night out and they messaged me to ask us to be quiet. I thought that was a bit of a double standard seeing as they had an actual party until late the night before. Overall the apartment was good for us. It had everything we needed and in a great area. It doesn’t quite feel like you are renting a private apartment though it is a floor of someone’s flat with a locked internal door separating you so the noises travel quite a lot.
