About the property

Old villa with 4 bedrooms and sea views near the beach

Villa renovated and extended two floors with 4 bedrooms, two double beds, one double bed and one triple bed, 2 bathrooms, a living room with fireplace, a full kitchen and field reading.

As for the exterior, the house is on a plot of 1200 m2 divided between two levels, the entrance where the parking garden area with lawn, surrounded by cypress and fig trees, and the background field area with fruit trees .

At the highest level and the house is a terrace in front and one side another area of ??lawned garden chaired by an olive tree over 300 years old that keeps on giving their olives each year, with a central pool to enjoy in spring summer.

At this time is when you make the most of the free space of the house, becoming the star instead of the tourists staying in the house. However, also the sunny winter days can enjoy the terrace and garden.

What makes this place different is the great spaciousness and tranquility along with great views of the coast and sea in Benalmadena.

In the field have mostly lemon where we can get these fruits for food. In September is the season of figs, providing a delicious fruit flavor.

In the winter season gets more prominence the dining room for meals, meetings and conversations between friends or family

Why Pedro Martín chose Benalmadena

It is the oldest villa in the area. It was the home to the tools of the farm where my grandfather and my great-uncle worked. The entire bottom of the house party were terraces of olive trees and vineyards, hence the word 'Viñuela' from 'viñas'.

What makes this villa unique

There isn´t a rental home of its kind in the area, a garden and so vast field in which you can enjoy the outdoors with as much freedom and privacy at a time, with fruit trees.

The soil of stones from the beach, overlooking the entrance to the house is original from when the house was originally.

Breakfast, as an afternoon snack and dinner on the terrace I seem magical, seeing the coast and the sea, the bay of Malaga at the bottom, and in winter the snow covered Sierra Nevada.

Take a walk among the fig trees and the fruit is always very relaxing

Traditional stay and setting with a modern twist

The villa is more akin to a traditional style Spanish farmhouse but with all mod cons. The panoramic views of Benalmadena etc are spectacular particularly from the upstairs veranda. The rooms are clean and spacious as is the outside. Even has a lemon grove from which we made fresh lemon juice which went well with my gin! hope you don't mind Pedro! It's a family home and the young grandchildren never got bored particularly as it has a good sized filtered swimming pool which they (and us) were in every day.The gardens are well maintained by Patrick the gardener.

The "Peublo" is nearby although 15min climb to it is steep and not good if you are bad on your knees . You must go if you can because it is a lovely tradional Spanish village. The choice of eating houses is varied and plentiful. The panaramic views are spectacular. The local are very welcoming and take pride in their village. It's well maintained, clean and full of colourful flower and potted plants with quirky narrow streets. The location of "Lo Antonio Coronao" is a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of Benalmadena town which isn't far away should you want a change from peace and tranquility.

All in all we had a fantastic time the weather was great , we ate all our meals outside. I particularly enjoyed the morning and evening choruses of chatting birds and boy could they chat! A bonus was we lost weight through eating all the different choices of mixed salads and fruits.

If you would like to feel the experience of real Spain give "Lo Antonio Coronao " a try you just might have a good time!

Beautiful Villa

We stayed in this beautiful Villa for a month. The Villa was immaculate and very well equipped, air con in all rooms which worked great. Very private even though houses surround it also has controlled gate entry. Swimming pool and gardens lovely, plenty of loungers and parasols. Benalmadena Pueblo village 10 mins walk (we timed it) although quite steep, still managed to push prams up. Sammy, the owners contact was at the end of phone at all times but we hardly had to contact him and had one small problem with pool, emailed Pedro,the owner, and was fixed immediately. We hope to return next year.

Beautiful Views, lots of space, very rustic!

Without a doubt the pool and garden area make this place! But not forgetting the beautiful view of the sea! With cactus & trees to die for and a lovely sized private pool I would highly recommend this villa! Thumbs up!

Finca with a beautiful view.

The best part of the house is the outside area. A nice terrace with a beautiful view. A big garden and good-sized swimmingpool. Although there are other neighbour houses you have complete privacy. Walking distance from Benalmadena Pueblo. Well equipped kitchen.

Communication with the owner very fast and smooth.

South Spain taste with incredible views

I´ll never regret my days in this historical house. The site is a balcony to the Mediterranean sea and the house service (optional) made my family and me have an enjoyable and relaxing stay. The garden was clean cutted and the swimming pool ready to splash and with incredible views. For golf players please visit the Torrequebrada Golf spot, is just 10 mts away.

Perfect house for a big family

We just stayed here for one week. We were a family of 6 persons with two kids. It was perfect for us! The house was very nice, safe and clean. The area is very nice as well, but you need a car to get around. Pedro Martin is also wery helpfull.

The villa The Coronao Antonio is located in the urbanization of La Viñuela, just below the town of Benalmadena. The semi-urbanized environment is so mixed field areas and areas of terraced houses.

In the village we can perform many activities: know the old people walking through its streets, eating at some restaurants, visit the museum Columbian Philip Orlando, this museum is a unique cultural space in Andalusia for hosting one of the largest collections of parts Pre-Columbian America in Spain, handicrafts samples from Mexico, Peru, Nicaragua, Colombia and Ecuador.

Moreover we can visit the Castle Colomares a single building built by Stephen Martin in honor of Christopher Columbus for discovering America.

We can also hiking up a mountain, or take the cable car up the mountain leads Calamorro.

We can go to the Tivoli World Amusement Park, also Selwo Marina.

We can go to Arroyo de la Miel, a small urban area where we can go shopping or drink, or stroll.

Also for Benalmadena Costa can do the same, or go to the Marina where there are food courts, bars, clubs, shops and boat moorings.

Besides the beaches that can be found throughout Benalmádena coast, we have the Benalmadena Exhibition Centre where we can find an annual program of art exhibitions from different disciplines to enjoy cutting edge authors.

There is also the Paloma Park, a huge park has a large lake with different birds like swans, ducks etc, and large gardens with trees.

I can not forget to ice skating enthusiasts, there is a club Benalmadena ice to practice hockey and ice skating, a gym and swimming pool.

Benalmádena is a tourist with an offer varied and versatile with lots of places to discover from the coast to the mountains.

I can not forget the Tibetan stupa in Benalmadena. This is the largest stupa in the West and has a height of 33 meters which, combined with its location on a slope of the Sierra de Mijas, offers a privileged view of the Costa del Sol

And another point of attraction is the butterfly, located next to the stupa. In a spectacular Thai temple can walk among more than 1. 500 exotic butterflies from around the world free flying in a tropical paradise waterfalls and flowers. You can see how they are born, how they reproduce and enjoy learning a lot about these amazing insects.
