This bright and spacious luxury waterfront apartment has been thoughtfully designed to make the most of these breathtaking 180º panoramic views across the Ria Formosa Natural Park, Fuseta Island and the Atlantic Ocean.

This unique development is small and is situated in a cul de sac therefore giving a sense of exclusivity and privacy to all our guests.

The apartment has been finished to a very high standard and comes complete with air conditioning, well equipped open plan fitted kitchen including dishwasher.

Relax on your own private balcony as you enjoy uninterrupted sea views and the lagoon's wild life or lay back in your secluded Jacuzzi on your own private roof terrace enjoying the tranquility as the bubbles gently massage your body.

There are two bedrooms one with en-suite bathroom with massage shower, a separate bathroom with bath and spacious bright open plan living room with Wall to floor adjustable glass windows for the fantastic views, natural light and cool breeze.

The complex boasts a communal swimming pool complex located on the opposite side and within view of the apartment. It is set amongst landscaped gardens, solely for the use of the guests and has 2 good size outdoor swimming pools. The roof top pool flows down as a waterfall to the lower pool. There are several areas for sunbathing equipped with loungers.

The unspoilt fishing village of Fuseta is only a 15 minute walk away with its square and many cafes, bars and restaurants, shops, post office, bank and fresh produce markets also the lagoon beach and the ferry to the island. The train station for access to the west side of the Algarve and to the Spanish border is a short 8 minute walk from the apartment. Conveniently the apartment is only a 35 minute drive from Faro airport.

The apartment and area is ideal for families with lots to see and do, or couples seeking a romantic getaway. Visit the traditional Portuguese neighboring towns and villages along the Algarve coastline or take an organized boat trip from Fuseta along the Ria Formosa. Hire some bikes to cycle the coast or Go Karting in Olhao, visit the ancient city of Faro or swim with the dolphins at zoo marine in Albufeira. There's something for everyone!

One of the best features of this property is the very private top terrace. You have total privacy whilst using the Jacuzzi and other areas on the top terrace as it is located on the end without a neighbor!

The terrace is accessed via a spiral staircase in the lounge area. Here you will see that this unique location has a panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean, sand bank islands, the salt pans and the estuary with it's many species of migrating birds including the flamingos.

Relax in you own private 6 seater Jacuzzi as you watch the beautiful sun sets over the sea.

At night the terrace is fully lit and the Jacuzzi also, giving a ambiance of romance!

There is ample sunbathing space and if you need a little shade then there is a covered area as well.

There is a large wooden table and 8 chairs with umbrella, 2 sun loungers and a hammock and chair swing.

There are 2 awnings for those very hot days and other sun umbrellas if needed.

Please note that the terrace stairs are not suitable for guests with restricted mobility. Children must be supervised at all times.

In addition to the roof terrace there is also a south facing private balcony with fantastic sea views, directly off the living area with 2 large comfortable wicker chairs and coffee table.

If needed also a rotating sun umbrella.

Access is made by lobby and a video door entry system is available.

Across the road and within view of the apartment are the communal split level pools.

The pools are on two levels, the top being a more shallow pool, cascading down to the lower deeper pool. Both have a large patio areas with sun loungers to sunbathe and to take in the stunning panoramic views of the ocean.

The private complex is set amongst tastefully designed landscaped gardens and grassed areas and is a cul-de-sac.

There are ample parking spaces to the front of the building.

A 25% deposit is required to secure the reservation.

The balance plus a refundable breakage bond (subject to satisfactory property inspection) of €120.00 euros will be payable 6 weeks prior to your arrival.

The bond will be transferred back to you account within 10 days of your departure, subject to a satisfactory property inspection.

All charges include cleaning prior to arrival, change of linen once per fortnight and cleaning after departure.

Conditions

Property has internal staircase to roof terrace/Jacuzzi and is unsuitable for unaccompanied young children or those unsteady on their feet.

Strictly no smoking inside the apartment.

Address and directions to the apartment will be given when deposit has been paid.

Shorter term breaks of minimum 4 nights will be considered.

We do try to be very flexible with arrival and departure times but on occasions we have to stipulate departure by 10.00hrs and arrival 15.00hrs.

The Algarve / East Algarve region

The Algarve is the most sunniest place in Europe with 3000 hrs of sun each year. There are miles of unspoilt golden sandy beaches. Flight time to Faro direct from UK is approx 2.15 hrs and Fuseta is 30-35 mins drive from airport. The Portuguese are warm and very helpful people and many can speak English.

Fuseta is a small town in the Ria Formosa in the eastern Algarve only 20 kms from Faro. Fuseta was originally a collection of small huts kept to store tools for fishing boats and now has developed but is still very traditional and touristic. The town is known for its quaint cubed houses with their terraces and interesting chimneys.

Fuseta has two beaches within walking distance of the apartment: a small beach on the lagoon in the town itself and a ocean beach is just across the lagoon on the Island of Armona (short, cheap and frequent ferry ride). The Ocean beach extends for miles so those seeking more peace and privacy can walk 10 minutes to have the beach almost to themselves! Spend the day here and relax in the restaurant, bars and cafes.

Faro, the capital of the Algarve is a great place to visit for its history, particularly attractive is the old part of the city still surrounded by the Roman walls. It is the home to the city's archaeological museum. The 'Golden' church contains the Macabre Spectacle of a chapel lined with the bones of 1,200 monks!

Olhão is a busy modern town with a gem of a waterfront. Its fishing port is the most important in the Eastern Algarve and its fish market is the biggest. Has many shops, restaurants and an entire summer festival devoted to sea food. You can take boats to the island villages and beaches of Armona, Culatra and Farol - all great day trips.

Tavira, 20 minutes away by car is a wonderful mix of the unexpected and the unusual. You will find a 13th century castle, the old gate of the city, a Camera Obscura, a magnificent Roman bridge, a beautiful garden with bandstand, and the old market hall which has been converted into a cafe/restaurant and craft shops area. There are many churches for which Tavira is famous. The Barril beach, Monte Gordo or Monta Rota are often voted as the best beaches.

There are water parks to the west, zoo marine where you can swim with the dolphins and go carting all within 55 mins drive.

Great property, gorgeous views!

My husband and I came from Canada to Portugal at the end of August and stayed for just over a week at Marta's lovely condo. We did not rent a car and prearranged online with Faro Airport Transfers to pick us up at the airport and return us there after our stay - I highly recommend this as once in Fuzeta, you don't need a car. You must be prepared and able to walk, however, and the apartment is on the third floor of the building accessible only by stairs. There is a spiral staircase inside of the apartment as well as hallway stairs to allow access to the spacious rooftop patio and hot tub. The apartment is spotlessly clean with a modern feel and has everything you need to cook - if you wish to do so. There is a lovely deck off of the living area where you can also see the river and ocean. Wifi is also available in the apartment which was a surprise bonus for us. The community pool is steps away and very nice as well. The pictures posted on the website are exactly what the apartment is like. We were very happy with our stay there. You will have to do a bit of walking and take the first day to explore the village. There is a well stocked, albeit tiny mercado ( grocery store) a five minute walk from the condo and the train station is nearby as well. The harbour area takes about ten minutes to walk to and from there you can catch the ferry to the island that lies between the river and the Atlantic. There are also various tours offered near the ferry dock the range in price and duration. The beach there is gorgeous and you can rent chairs if you wish. There are two small snack bars. Bring your own beach towels from home as they are not included in the condo. The ferry is less than 2 euros round trip. There is another supermarket closer to the harbour and a municipal market open in the mornings that sells fresh fish, meat and a full range of produce. Each day we found new things and discovered that we should have stayed longer! We took the train a few times to Tavira - a charming nearby town -where there is a much greater variety of shops and restaurants. You can get on the train and purchase a ticket from the conductor. It is about 3 euros each for a round trip. There is a schedule posted at the station and online. The only negative part of this holiday was having it come to an end!

Marta was wonderful to deal with and answered my many questions promptly. I would recommend her lovely apartment without hesitation.

Excellent

Clean and spacey apartment in a quiet and beautiful environment. The apartment really had all the luxury we needed; a good air-conditioning, a private jacuzzi, a washing machine, dishwasher, a good freezer, even a big TV. There's a spacious pool, for who doesn't want to be in the jacuzzi all the time. The village has the shops needed and it's easy and fast to visit the beach. The owner is super friendly and always helpful, gave tips about restaurants. All was excellent.

Excellent property

Pros:

The property was clean and well-maintained. Situated close to the local town, stunning local beaches, and swimming pool.

The local restaurants are all very reasonably priced for the high quality of food they offer.

The owner provided us with a fantastic service from start to finish, all throughout our stay.

The views from the roof of the apartment were lovely. The apartment had everything that you would need for a holiday plus more and was very modern and clean.

We do not have children but it looked like a very nice and safe place for kids, the apartment contained all the beach equipment you would need for a family holiday. However, as a retreat for a couple it suited our needs perfectly as well.

I would recommend this property to a friend. Cheap flights, cheap but exceptional food given the price, and cheap taxi transfers to the apartment.

Fantastic apartment amazing views

This great apartment had everything you need for a very comfortable stay.The roof terrace was fantastic with sun loungers table and chairs and small comfy sofa,we used the fab hot tub a few times.The kitchen was well equipped with everything you might need for cooking a meal,but why bother as there are plenty of reasonably priced restaurants serving delicious fresh seafood.The apartment is part of a small beautifully maintained complex with two small pools very safe for young children with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas and only about a ten minute stroll to the town square.This is our 4th time in fuseta and this has been the best apartment we have stayed in. Marta made everything so easy organising our taxi and having Jose meet us with the keys.will def stay here again if we return to fuseta .Thanks Marta

Great apartment in a wonderful authentic village

The Apartment is wonderful with a big roof terrace including a Jacuzzi, BBQ and spectacular views of the Ria Formosa. Communictaion with Marta was great and we really enjoyed Fuseta. Very authentic and quiet. Covo Fish BBQ is an absolute must. Great vacation and definetly a place to recommend.

Fantastic holidays!

We had fantastic holidays in this beautiful apartment. It was very complete and spotless clean.

We enjoyed the fantstastic views on the terrace (with the jacuzzi), the walks and biking tours in the beautiful area, the lovely village of Fuseta, etc… We would like to come a next year.
