And with great walks on the doorstep, it is pet friendly.

Sheepscombe House is a rare gem that sparkles in a quintessentially English valley. The major part of a small Georgian manor house transformed into a welcoming and cosy family home yet displaying impeccable taste and style; and private as well. The house - with its large child welcoming gardens, wild meadows, an incredibly romantic, yet practical, swimming pool and valley side tennis court - is hidden away behind electronic security gates to create a very secure and private environment yet a walk away from the local country pub.
Sheepscombe House has generous living and entertaining space over three floors with an elegant drawing room that opens out onto the private rear terrace garden. The kitchen breakfast room features both a a six-ring double oven range cooker as well as a wood fired Rayburn range, and is totally equipped for the ambitious amateur or professional chef. This leads into out into the modern conservatory dining room that in turn opens out onto the private terrace that is equipped for outdoor dining.
There are five bedrooms, three doubles two with their own en-suite facilities, a twin room and a three berth bedroom plus a further bathroom and separate shower room. There is a separate downstairs cloakroom. Sheepscombe is baby-friendly providing two cots and two high chairs.
Sheepscombe House has an amazing first floor Cinema Room where everyone can share an evenings entertainment or an afternoon of sports as well as having a downstairs Music Room with upright piano.
There are pretty gardens on three sides of the house and aside from the formal out door dining area - off the kitchen and conservatory dining room - plenty of spaces and areas to enjoy the stunning surroundings with a glass of wine and bowl of olives.
The swimming pool setting is sheltered and romantic and is fully equipped with loungers and dining furniture and a built in Pizza Oven. And as it is gated, safe for pets and young children. And from March 2014 it will be fitted with a full height retractable glazed enclosure meaning it will be open all year round and usable whatever the weather. Next door to the swimming pool is the full size - all weather from April 2014 - tennis court with great views across the valley.
Surrounded on two sides by its own fields - one which is home to the owner's Alpaca herd - there is plenty of space for children and pets to run wild. And as the garden is equipped with tree house and slide, climbing frame, football goal and sandpit Sheepscombe is very child friendly.
