This home was very clean and comfortable.
We appreciated that there was coffee, coffee filters, creamers etc., and hot cocoa mix for us to have on the first morning prior to picking up groceries.
The location on the Big Thompson River is beautiful and wildlife regularly visit the area.We saw a large bobcat and a bull elk just a few yards from the driveway.
The owner was gracious and even had a welcome gift for us on arrival.
This is a great place!
Lovely home perfect for relaxing!
We will book this home again for our next visit to Estes Park! The house is comfortable and immaculately clean with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The owner is responsive and a pleasure to deal with. The very close proximity to RMNP is one of the many benefits of this house. My husband and I stayed the weekend and could hear elk bugling in the evening from inside the home! It is a short 5 minute drive to downtown Estes for shopping and restaurants. The floor plan would support two couples easily with privacy for both as each of the upstairs bedrooms has a private bathroom. The sleeper sofa in the living room has access to a half bath. The Big Thompson is right off the back deck which provides both beauty and relaxing background sound.
Peace and quite on the river
The property was absolutely beautiful with a stream flowing through the back yard. At night windows were easily opened to allow a cool breeze to enter and listening to the sound of the river. It was nice having a full kitchen for preparing meals and storing the next days lunch. We caught rainbow trout with a fly rod literally right outside our door. Wonderful property I would recommend to anyone looking to get away.
Estes was less than 5 minutes away for viewing elk and Rocky Mtn National Park was also 5 minutes away, excellent location.
Serenity on the River is located on the Southwest end of Estes Park, just outside the city limits. While off the beaten path, you are never too far away from all the amenities of Estes Park. From the property, enjoy views of the Big Thompson River from the patio, across the street and down the road is the World famous YMCA of the Rockies, where they feature plenty of hiking and horseback trails. The property is also located on a wildlife corridor. Several guests have reported deer and elk passing by the property, usually early in the morning or at dusk. Rocky Mountain National Park is just a five minute drive away. If you do not want to cook, there are plenty of restaurants to appeal to any kind of appetite.
