Perfect

Loved staying at this flat in London. Sara was very accommodating and Lazlo was there to greet us, let us drop our bags, and gave us some great food and shopping recommendations. The beds were comfortable and we all really loved this beautiful place.

Fabulous house with everything needed for business and leisure travellers

  • 5 of 5

Ideal rental in London. The house is beautiful, spotless and more spacious than similar properties in London, especially the bathroom provision. Easy communication and being greeted in person really helped make our stay easy.

Loved it!

  • 5 of 5

The house was perfect, it was in a nice location which is walking distance to the train and tube. I really appreciated the fact that there were plenty of towels, toilet paper, paper towels in the kitchen, and even some basics in the kitchen. I would highly recommend this rental.

Central location. Flexible, spacious and well equipped accommodation.

  • 5 of 5

The Garden House in Pimlico provided ideal accommodation for us; two sisters staying with three of our grandchildren aged between four and eleven. The central location of the property meant travel times were kept to a minimum. The buses were particularly good - less than one minutes walk to the bus stop from The Garden House then direct routes to many attractions such as the museums.

Inside The Garden House, the accommodation was surprisingly spacious and very well equipped. It was clean and furnished to a high standard. The 'extras' provided such as basic kitchen and cleaning supplies were much appreciated. So often with self catering, there is significant extra expense buying in these necessities.

This is an example of the kindness shown to us by Sarah, the owner. Her contact before the visit to check we had everything required was welcome as was her personally meeting us at the house to show us round.

I would book The Garden House without hesitation if required again in future and certainly recommend it to others.

Quirky fun and convenient for central london

  • 5 of 5

Individual property over 3 floors with plentiful bathroom and relaxation space. The owner includes thoughtful additions such as rugs, books etc plus a well equipped cosy kitchen. We walked to the majority of central London attractions but bus and tube are very close. lovely local community - we would definitely book again next time we are in London

A unique house in the Conservation area of Pimlico, close to Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace and the West End. The Tate Britain and the Thames are both five minutes walk away.

Although most of the house is 150 years old, it has been sympathetically refurbished to combine modern appliances with original features. At the heart of the house is a handmade kitchen with exposed brick fireplace, corniced ceilings and modern appliances, including a dishwasher. The kitchen is equipped with seating for six.

There is a luxurious double reception room with Philippe Stark furnishings and Bang & Olufsen appliances, including a TV and CD player. For those wishing to entertain, porcelain, silver cutlery and Irish and Venetian crystal are provided. Access to caterers, cleaners and dry clean collection/drop-off can be arranged.

Sleeping accommodation comprises two smart double bedrooms each with access to a charming patio terrace, and a bathroom and shower room respectively. The rear terrace has extensive seating and a working water fountain. In addition, there is a top floor studio with a luxurious sofa bed, an ensuite shower room and an outside balcony with seating. The studio space is equipped with TV, extensive DVD collection and a Wii console.

There is both a cafe and a famous delicatessen within metres of the house. On the adjacent street, there is a full range of amenities, small but well stocked supermarket, dry cleaners, laundrette, Indian restaurant, friendly pub and colourful Tapas bar. There is a fantastic variety of shops, bars and restaurants near Victoria Station. Across the River Thames is Battersea Park, ideal for running, walking and tennis. Tennis raquets and balls are provided. Guest membership of a nearby gym can be arranged for £5 per day.

Victoria train, coach and bus stations are all within ten minutes' walk and Pimlico tube station is on the adjacent street. There is a row of 'Boris' bikes available for hire metres from the house.

The house is exceptionally quiet, yet moments away from the sights and sounds of Central London and all the city has to offer.
