A fantastic spacious cottage in a brilliant location!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved Growler Cottage! It was so spacious downstairs with a dining room, lounge, kitchen & breakfast room. Much bigger than cottages we have stayed in before. Tracy, the owner, could not have been more informative. Questions before and during our stay were answered quickly.

On arrival we had a lovely welcome pack for both us and our dog, which was very much appreciated. And the fresh daffodils were a lovely touch.

The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed, including handwash, washing up liquid, dishwasher & washing tabs & other cleaning materials. Little things that you often forget but are much needed.

Although the cottage was dog friendly it was extremely clean & inviting & didn't have a "doggy" smell. So I would definitely reccommend to those who like to take their dogs away - but equally, for those looking for a lovely cottage in a great location - this cottage ticks all the boxes.

We loved our stay & will definitely be returning!

Growler cottage

  • 5 of 5

Growler cottage was lovely and cosy, very well equipped, perfect location, quiet street and just at top of street is where town starts. We were impressed by the milk etc left for when we arrived and chews for the dog, also lots of different size bowls for dogs too, very thoughtful. One thing you may think to add, the living room cupboard/storage room could do with a 'mind the step' sign on door as I fell into it, I am rather clumsy though ha. All round lovely couple of nights away with the kids and poppy the dog. Thank you.
