Great property!

  • 5 of 5

Spacious and airy home with plenty of room in a quiet neighborhood. Huge kitchen and living area. Nice backyard. Host was very accommodating and helpful before, during and after our stay. We had a total of 8 during our stay :: four adults and four kids between the ages of 5 and 11. Kids LOVED the bunk beds and had plenty of room to play. Bathrooms were huge with plenty of towels. Highly recommend if you have a group of 10 - 12. Downstairs area is big enough to accommodate 2 queen sized blow up mattresses if you needed it. Really enjoyed our stay here!

Villa Verda has been beautifully remodeled and brought up to date ,

  • 5 of 5

We were pleasantly surprised when we checked into this VRBO home , the kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans , cooking utensils, etc. ice maker works ,dishwasher works , the beds were comfortable , the towels and linens are nice , I did bring extra dish towels and dish cloths and extra paper towels and toilet. Paper , that came in handy , body wash shampoo and conditioner aren't supplied bring your own . ..

, I hosted a mini class reunion , people came and went all throughout the day. The backyard is private and pretty , the front porch was nice , we had plenty of parking , I had checked with St Pauls AME church on the corner and ask if we could use their parking lot if necessary , the pastor said yes, I sent the church a donation , I really dont think we needed the extra parking space , but just in case ,it's good to have . The kitchen is large ,enough for several people at one time .. all my classmates from the class of 1968-1973 were pleased with this venue ,and want to book it again next year... thank you Nicholas ..

Perfect for a family gathering

  • 5 of 5

In town for our son's wedding we were able to share this beautiful house with friends and family members in a very comfortable setting. The neighborhood was close enough to allow walking back and forth to several locations in the heart of St. Augustine.

St Augustine's family wedding weekend

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in this house. Just under a mile to walk into town and worth it due to limited parking in St. Augustine's. Would be even nicer if house had outdoor table and chairs in backyard. There is a grill but you would need to buy charcoal, etc. and did not see much in terms of grill utensils. Agree with earlier review that manager needs to read the comments as there were some easy things to fix that we encountered too. Ice machine in fridge doesn't work so they should have bought ice trays. Also, no blinds on upstairs windows although manager thought they were installed before our stay. House advertises bicycles but we never saw them. Living room and kitchen furniture very basic, not all that comfortable. If you are looking for a place to sleep and don't plan on staying in the house (as there is so much to do in town) this house is perfect. Large, clean bathrooms and all beds comfortable except downstairs queen. We would stay here again if the issues noted were addressed.

Amazing house

  • 5 of 5

House was exceptional. Great for large parties. We had a large bridal party in and out all weekend along with family and friends stopping by. Plenty of parking and a quick walk to downtown.House nice and clean. Visually appealing as well as comfortable. Would use again for any other large guest occasion in St Augustine.

Graduation Weekend / December 2017

  • 3 of 5

My review of this St Augustine home.

Positives

Great location , close to down town and easy walk

Large home with open floorplan

Great for entertaining

Bathrooms clean and large

Beds and linens very nice!

Nice rockers on the bottom deck

Cutely decorated for Christmas

Cons

No Microwave

Kitchen isn’t furnished with equipment to cook for crowds – three pans in all – tiny baking sheet no rack

Ice dispenser and water dispenser on Fridge not working

Under carriage of dish washer not installed correctly

Furniture looks nice but must be from Ikea and is falling apart…… Table – living room -dining chairs – bunk beds. Be careful where you sit.

Bed in the room upstairs with two doubles one of the platforms is missing three slates ( can’t use )

Mater bedroom upstairs closet rod isn’t installed

No blinds upstairs

Locks are hard to use since the doors are miss aligned

Not a nice neighborhood visually, but met some nice neighbors

Management company was responsive the next day about some issues with the internet and missing items. But promised to put a board to fix bed and wasn’t done.

There’s a guest book in the house and management needs to read comments. These issues I found where mentioned by other guests….and should have been addressed before our stay.

All in all if they repaired the above items I would rent the home again for the size and location.
