Cottage Style Beach House-Large Private Pool-local cell phone use included

We stayed at Casa Oceano for one week during Easter week. We were a big group of 16 (12 adults and 4 kids) and we couldn't be any happier about booking this property! Rupi and Karin are great giving all the information needed, fast communication and will answer any questions that you have. The house caretakers, Marvin and Lily are simply WONDERFUL! They are always there to help in any way possible! Lily cooked a couple of meals for our group and it was just great! Love her seasoning!

The house is great, simple and very welcoming. We particularly loved the covered backyard with the stone tables, my family spent a LOT of time there, playing games, eating, talking... that was the designated hang out area and it worked. The pool, clean and welcoming! We really didn't go to the beach that much, because we were having so much fun in the pool, but the sunsets were awesome.

Location is great, close to everything... great restaurants (try La Casa del Camaron!), there is a Pali Market very close by that has everything that you will need.

We highly recommend Rupi and Karin's house if you are looking for some chilled and relaxing vacation! It was amazing.... Thank you for making our vacation great! Sandra

We stayed at Rupi & Karin's place along with family friends for 5 days during March break. Both families were extremely pleased with our accommodations and the amenities provided on property. We particularly loved ready access to a pool, which provided hours of fun for parents, 17 month twins and a 3 and 6 year old, and an escape from the midday heat. We also enjoyed the direct access to a private beach, where we gathered to gaze at spectacular sunsets. The property is comfortable and well laid-out, and the on-site team (Marvin and Lily) were wonderful; delicious meals made with love and served on schedule. Marvin took the time within his day to make us a yummy coconut cocktail, and pick up items at the store, so we could rest and relax. Thanks guys!

We recommend this location to any travelers looking for the comforts of home and luxuries of vacation in a venue fit for a large group or family. Pura vida!

The house and property were all that we hoped for! Great pool, green space and beach access. The owners provide helpful advice before our arrival. There was plenty of space inside and out for our party of 15, including our 4 adult children, their partners and 5 grandchildren. There was also lots of shopping nearby as promised. The staff, Marvin and Lily, were friendly and very helpful with directions/assistance to find what we needed. We also took advantage of Lily's cooking skills to enjoy delicious, homemade Costa Rican dishes.

The close proximity to the beach was perfect for watching the sun rise and amazing sun sets.

If you are looking to be a part of Costa Rica for your stay this is the place you want. It's not fancy but is very functional for a nice stay. We were their new care taker's ( Marvin & Lilly) first group, so we were all a little apprehensive but once we got the google translator on our phones and were able to communicate we had a great stay. They took excellent care of us during our stay. Besides their normal chores we hired them to cook and do some grocery shopping for us, so that we felt a little like we were at our own private all inclusive resort. The only thing that I would have liked to have had at the property was some ocean toys, like maybe a kayak, some boogy boards, or a surf board because there is no place close to rent any.

Our first trip to Costa Rica was amazing and our stay at Oceana was great. Bernie and Ronald were helpful and so amazing to work with. The house is comfortable and the patio and pool were perfect.
