About the property

Mountain Top Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible Bed(s), 3 Baths, (Sleeps 8)

Luxury Mountain Top Cabin located on top of beautiful Carsons Ridge in popular Brother's Cove Resort. Cabin is newly remodeled with Stainless Steel Appliances, Granite Counter tops, and rustic upscale furnishings and decor. Cabin sits back off the road and tucked away up a winding drive to your private getaway. Many guest have described it as staying in a large tree house. It has a unique floor plan that is basically two cabins that are linked through a connecting hallway. The main cabin host two bedrooms and two baths (Jacuzzi) with 32 inch LED HD flat screen TV's upstairs with an adjoining balcony outside. Downstairs is the kitchen, dinning area, and living room with 55 inch LED flat screen HDTV, WIFI, surround sound stereo, and river rock stack stone wood burning fireplace. There is a large covered front porch with swing and log rocking chairs. The large back deck has a hot tub, log picnic table, and several log chairs to take in natures best. The second Cabin hosts a large 'Game Room' which consists of a pool table, wet bar (granite), sofa with pull out bed, a twin trundle bed, 60 inch LED HD flat screen TV, surround sound stereo, and river rock stack stone wood burning fireplace. This cabin can be closed off from the main part for total privacy.

Brothers Cove is not your typical cookie cutter resort in the Smokies. The developer paid special attention to keep the beauty of the mountain and preserve its natural environment. Most cabins are situated on 1 acre lots and are nestled in mature trees. There is a community pool called the 'Cement Pond' to cool off during the summer months.

Brother's Cove is located 7 miles from light number 3 off the parkway. It is approximately 15 minutes to Dollywood. The resort is located off scenic Walden's Creek Rd. There is horseback riding and four wheeler trails located within 2 miles of the resort. Located minutes to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville, there is plenty of shopping, entertainment, restaurants, and outdoor activities.

This property had exceptional rating in the last a few years.

Dreamcatcher is wonderful!

5 of 5

What a wonderful few nights we had in the beautiful cabin called "Dreamcatcher" in the Brother's Cove gated community! We happened to get a snow storm so it was like being in a winter wonderland!! Though definitely remember 4 wheel drive if it is winter... because the roads are winding and the cabin is high atop Carson's Ridge. The inside of the cabin is gorgeous! Two wood burning fireplaces, a separate game room, amazing windows, and all up-to-date appliances and accessories. The cabin has wonderful décor. You can't miss staying at this cabin!! Also Tammy (the owner) was so friendly, professional and helpful throughout our entire stay!!

Awesome mountain get away!

5 of 5

This is our second stay at the “Dreamcatcher” cabin and it truly did not disappoint! We took our families there for Thanksgiving and our stay was very comfortable with never a dull moment. The time that we spent together enjoying the holiday, playing pool in the bonus room, and sipping a glass of wine in the hot tub overlooking the beautiful Smokey Mountains was priceless. The cabin was very clean and supplied everything we needed and, to our surprise, decorated with sweeping holiday lights and a beautiful Christmas tree along with soothing sounds of the season as you walk in the door. The cabin is very spacious to accommodate everyone’s needs and is filled with so many windows that every view you can imagine is truly amazing. And too, with the weather being cold, we were able to enjoy roaring fires in both fireplaces every day and night. Our stay was comfortable, and there was never a dull moment. If you are looking for a little seclusion but close to surrounding touring areas, this is it! It was perfect and just what we were looking for. We cannot wait till our next visit!

Best Place in the Mountains!

5 of 5

Talk about a perfect getaway! This is it! We decided to take our dad to the Smokey Mountains for his 80th birthday and thought this cabin would be the perfect spot to celebrate. Once we arrived we found everything in place just as described and exceptionally clean, not to mention all the cozy welcoming decor. The rooms are spacious with plenty of area for everyone to move around. The separate room was enjoyable for the family to relax in too - slipping in a little pool or watching a movie on the big screen was entertaining for us all. In the evenings we found ourselves either on the front covered porch enjoying the swing and chatting or sitting out back on the spacious deck in the hot tub listening to some music or enjoying dinner cooked on the grill in the great outdoors. You could really tell that all the area is cared for within the gated community too. And too, your only a few minutes from the park and other attractions. This truly felt like our home. We enjoyed it so much that we've already booked a second trip. If your looking for the perfect getaway, this is it!

Perfect Getaway

5 of 5

So glad we found this beautiful cabin! The wall of windows and the wraparound back deck made enjoying the mountain scenery so convenient. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax after spending the day taking in local attractions. Our kids had a blast in the game room playing pool and watching TV; they got a kick out of keeping their cokes and juice boxes in the mini fridge under the bar. My wife enjoyed a peaceful bath in the garden tub that was right in the master bedroom while I got to stretch out by the fireplace in the living room. Not only was the cabin immaculate, but the owner was a pleasure to work with. She made us feel as if she were truly concerned that our stay be the best it possibly could. We will definitely be staying again!

Great layout for multiple family vacation

4 of 5

Great views near the top of Brother's Cove from Dreamcatcher.

This is a very spacious place. Our 3 kids got to spend a lot of time on their own half of the building with bar and pool table. It's almost like having two cabins. It would be ideal for two couples with kids. There are like two master suites in the main cabin. Each with access to a deck. There's also the rear deck with whirlpool and grill. Each end of the cabin has it's own 55" TV. Great for watching the the Badgers beat Kentucky in the Final Four. First night we had a great view of a thunderstorm that blew in. Also a little scary.

About 15 min. to the nearest gas station / grocery store and pizza joint.

It's about 30 min. from the entrance to the Smokey Mountains NP entrance. Best to go through Gatlinburg as the mountains there are the most beautiful. Not too far from the Cades Cove entrance either,so you have two entrances to the park easily available to you.

Pros: Ample space, full kitchen & cooking facilities. Three bathrooms. Nice views. proximity to NP.

Cons: The higher up you go the longer it takes to get down the hill too. Otherwise, fairly close to Pigeon Forge. Dishwasher was in bad shape. It kept running when the door wasn't all the way closed. Ask the owner if this is fixed. During the storm, the walls leaked through knots in the wood. Had to move my son's bed to keep it dry. I don't like the carpet upstairs--particularly with allergies. I'd prefer hardwood floors. Most of the pool sticks were broken.

All in all we had a great time in this place. After a day in the Smokies it's a great place to come back to. The only real problem was the dishwasher. I was concerned it would leak all over which it did to some extent. It's 5 stars if the problems are fixed.

The snow topped it off

5 of 5

This was our third time staying here and it was just as nice and clean as it always is. Love coming here and to top it off we woke up to snow on Saturday morning. The kids had a ball and it stayed just long enough to enjoy and melted away so we'd have a safe journey home. This is a perfect place to get away. We will be back again soon.

What a week....

5 of 5

What a perfect week. As stated by other reviews, the pictures don't tell the story. What a gorgeous cabin in a gorgeous setting. Want to get away for some peace and quiet? This is the place. Want a place that is super clean? This is the place. Want a place that is spacious for the family or friends? You guessed is the place. Beautiful furniture, comfy beds, fantastic all there. There are cute signs all over the cabin that seem to multiply the longer you stay. I do recommend that you arrive before dark on your first day as we did not and the drive up to the cabin was a little tricky. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and you'll be glad if YOU do. Thanks Tammy! From Michigan, Bob and Ruth and Ken and Carol.

About Property Manager/Owner

I moved to TN a year ago and love the area -- so many trees and the mountains are lovely all seasons. The quite cabin helps me to recharge from the busy life.

Property Manager/Owner purchased this cabin in 2017

Why Property Manager/Owner chose Sevierville

I picked this spot because it is tucked away from the other cookie cut cabins yet decent to get to from the main amenities around the area. It is a perfect spot for me to spend quality time with my family.

The cabin was clean and well maintained. Its was large enough for my family of 8.

5 of 5

We loved our stay at this cabin. It was clean when we arrived and it had everything you could ask for in the kitchen. It had plenty of room for my family of 8. It was also close to many attractions in Piegon Forge as well as Gatlinburg. The owners were very nice and are quick to respond should you have any questions. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back.

Dwayne B.

The cabin was great!!!

5 of 5

The cabin was great, it had everything we needed and more. The quality of the interior furnishings including kitchen supplies was above standard, or at least above mine. The audio and tv setup is outstanding. One thing that would be great for future guest would be an explanation on how to use the tv, satellite, and sound system. I'm a little savvy in that area so I figured it out. The views are amazing, although Dream Catcher views are a little spotty due to the trees especially the leaves, the view would be remarkable after the leaves were gone. Speaking of views, to get the view means you need to be high up and this cabin is one of the highest cabins on the mountain. After you enter the resort and pass through gate you begin the incline with steep grades and switch back curves so have that automobile in shape. It is very rewarding once you arrive at Dream Catcher.

Tammy was wonderful to work with on the cabin.

Great cabin! So beautiful and comfortable!

  • 5 of 5

The DreamCatcher is a beautiful cabin on top of the mountain. It had all the necessary amenities, including the awesome game room! The beds and furniture were very comfortable! The huge windows allowed great views, including our view of a very curious bear cub! We got pictures and videos of him wandering around the place. If we come back to the area, we’d definitely stay here! Close enough to town, but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful vacation.

Perfect cabin!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin made our first trip to the Smoky Mountains so memorable. It was very spacious, more than enough spaces to sleep, well kept and very clean. The owner was very nice and understanding. The cleaning lady, Rachel, was super nice and helpful even thought we never met her. I highly recommend this cabin and will definitely stay there again.

On top of the world !!!

  • 4 of 5

The drive to the top of the mountain was quite intense but worth it because Dreamcatcher was the perfect cabin for us - 2 couples 4 children. The kids had their own private cabin (the gameroom) and we adults had the rest of the cabin to ourselves. The decor was so cozy and inviting and the surroundings were quiet and peaceful. Would have given a 5 star rating but had a few minor problems - not enough pillow cases for the pillows, there was a ceiling leak in the downstairs bathroom, the refrigerator made a loud motor noise, and couldn’t get the surround sound to work. These should all be easy fixes and improve the stay for future guests.

Owner's Response: We appreciate the review and feedback. The entertainment system was taken apart by the previous guests and unfortunately we need time to put back. The leaking is new and we contacted roofer to fix. We have plenty pillowcases but the guest does not know all the storage. I wish they contacted us and ask. The Fridge is normal but may sound loud because it is extremely quite up in the mountain.

Beyond expectations!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is beautiful! Everything was very well maintained and updated. The owners were very prompt on my needs and responded very quick. The view was amazing, a few trees could use trimmed to see the view a little better but even with the trees it was beautiful. The beds were comfy and the hot tub was perfect! The only concern was that this cabin included paranormal activities. Being that I love going to haunted places, I have even stayed the night in an asylum. This was the most frightening, as I was not expecting it.

Owner's Response: We appreciate the guest response. However, there is NO paranormal activities on the mountain. We have many visitors throughout the year and never heard of this. This view clearly is very subjective from this specific visitor. I have asked VRBO to look into this.

Charming, clean and peaceful.

  • 5 of 5

All the spaces in this property were laid out well. The two upstairs bedrooms were equal in size and amenities, and the bed in the game room was the perfect spot for our teenage son to have his own space. We liked how there were different ways to enjoy the view: the amazing back porch, the private front porch with a swing, or out the many big windows from the comfort of the indoors. The drive up to the property steep and curvy, which adds to the mountain feel when you arrive at Dreamcatcher. There is nothing negative to say-highly recommend!
