Very beautiful house
The owner was very easy to deal with and the house was beautiful.
Amazing views and location!
This house is amazing. The views were breathtaking and the location was close to so many wonderful wineries. The house was equipped with all the amenities as well. I would recommend to anyone!
Views never get old
The spectacular views from this property never get old. We kept finding ourselves outside or in the kitchen looking at the views.
The house was just as described. It was clean, well appointed, and perfect for our family (4 adults, 2 kids under 4).
We couldn’t help but make homemade pizza in the wood burning pizza oven and watch the beautiful sunset. Unfortunately the weather was just too cold to fully enjoy the pool, but it didn’t stop us from leveraging the lounge chairs and tables.
Lidio answered all of our questions and made the check-in process extremely simple.
The location is great. Right on the mountain road between Sonoma and Napa. The road is, well, a mountain road. It is newly paved which definitely helped. We loved the location though for the views and the ability to access both sides of wine country.
I would go back and stay at this house again.
Great place to stay!
The property was absolutely stunning and the owner but all those extra touches
Into our stay. Only downfall is the house is located down a VERY windy mountain road. If heights bother you or you’re prone to getting car sick- this might not be the place for you.
Spectacular views and mostly comfortable accommodations
You rent this spot for its views, its views and its views. We never tired of taking photos from the pool area in the early mornings at sunrise and in the evenings at sunset. While it isn't mentioned in the listing, the California fires two years ago burned some of this property and the trees nearby. Nonetheless, it did little to hurt the special views from this elevation (about 1700 feet).
The home itself has plenty of space in all rooms. It was more than the four of us required. The kitchen felt a bit dated with chipped paint on cabinets and doors that opened when drawers were pulled. Perhaps they are in the process of updates, because baseboard was missing in part of the kitchen.
The complimentary sparkling water and wine was a nice treat.
The listing states that the home has air conditioning. It does have air conditioning for the main level of the home (kitchen, dining, living room and two bedrooms). It does not have air conditioning for the lower level of the home (third bedroom and family room). We only used the main level's two bedrooms, so it was no issue for us.
One hall light switch was missing its cover plate. This is a safety issue and should be addressed by the owner as soon as possible.
We were given no check-out instructions like had been given to us at previous rentals. We put our used towels in the laundry basket. We stripped the beds and left those linens in a pile atop the beds. Hopefully, nothing more was expected.
Amazing house, amazing location!
Beautiful house located on the top of a mountain. Amazing views of the Sonoma Valley and a quick 15 min drive to Napa, best of both worlds. Infinity pool was great! Can't say enough good things about the property and Lidio was a great host, can't wait to stay here again
