Lovely property, would recommend!
I booked this property for a girls weekend, and was so happy with it. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, there are plenty of bathrooms for a big group. It's all nicely decorated and furnished and the living room is a lovely social space. The outside area was lovely as well, although we stayed in November so didn't use the garden, but a few of the braver girls used the hot tub!
We found everything we needed in the kitchen, plenty of plates, glasses, dishes, utensils, dishwasher tablets etc, and Steve had very thoughtfully got us some essentials.
If anyone is taking young children there is plenty of plates and cups for little ones and plenty of toys and dvds in the property as well.
I was so happy with the stay, I can't recommend it highly enough!
Thank you ever so much for your lovely and informative feedback on Gardener's Arms Cottage, we are truly delighted that you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again in the near future!
Spacious and homely cottage
I went to the Gardener’s Arms Cottage for a long weekend with a group of friends. All the bedrooms were comfortable and a good size, there are plenty of bathrooms, a good sized living space, big dining area and garden - there was everything we needed!
The cottage was warm and comfortable, as well as nicely decorated. Steve was flexible about check in time and popped round to help us with the hot tub when we needed to top it up.
I would happily stay again and would recommend to others!
We came here for a Hen Party for 1 night and the owners had left us food and drink as a welcome gift, which was a very nice gesture. The cottage was extremely well furnished and equipped, everything was very clean but still homely which was lovely. The gardens were immaculate and not to mention the hot tub which was easy to use! There were 13 of us and everybody loved it - no complaints.
Would also like to add that the owners were very ameniable with our check in and check out times which helped us out a lot.
We would definitely like to come back and spend more time here!
A very warm welcome to a stunning property
This was the perfect house for a relaxing getaway for my friends and I last weekend. The hot tub was such a treat and the beds were so comfortable!
Steve was extremely welcoming and made sure to let us know that if we needed anything he would be there.
The dining room was perfect for 11 of us, as was the living room.
Overall a perfect weekend and we’ll definitely return. Thanks!
A few days in north somerset
Gardeners Arms Cottage - standard second to nonet he owners hospitality could not
be faulted. Everything was there that you could possible need and the extra little touches
biscuits for the children strawberries and cream cider and wine in the fridge for the adults.
Would recommend this property to anyone. The area has lots to do for all tastes and ages.
We were a party of ten (5 adults 5 children) and we all came home very happy.
Cheddar Gorge is within 5 miles. It rises to 450ft and spans three miles long making it the biggest gorge in the UK! There are plenty of activities to do here, from walking and cycling to the more extreme abseiling, climbing and adventure caving!
