Our Deluxe Rocamadour**** Lodges make the most of the beautiful French weather with their large covered balconies where you can sit comfortably and sip the local wine.

The three bedrooms are located downstairs making them cool during the summer sun. There is one parental suite and then a further two bedrooms which share a family bathroom.

The lodge has a fully equipped American style kitchen leading through to the open plan modern living space. Large sliding patio doors then take you out onto your private covered balcony where you can find your garden furniture and make the most of the relaxing environment. The whole space is light and airy with all the equipment that you will need.

Each lodge has a parking space for at least one car. All of the linen is included as well a bath and hand towel per person. We also include the end of stay clean and, upon request, changes of linen or mid-stay cleans for a supplement.

Our lodges are grouped into hamlets around the golf course, each has a private pool for those staying in that particular area. There is also a further two pools open to all next to the reception. The play area and playing field are located next to the two tennis courts at the center of the site with a bouncy castle and trampolines.

As well as the self-catering facilities in the lodge our domain has its own restaurant providing you with a choice of regional dishes as well as international choices. During the peak season the Restaurant du Golf hosts themed evenings for your entertainment.

Our 18 hole golf course is nestled amongst the oak forest presenting you a challenging a-typical course. With sloped and technically fairways, fast greens and water obstacles each time you play you will discover a new and exciting part of our course. As a resident you will benefit from a 20% discount off of green fees.

The Souillac Golf & Country Club is located on the boarders of 3 beautiful regions of the South West of France, The Dordogne, the Lot and the Corrèze.

The most popular tourist sites to visit are within an easy drive of the Club, generally with in a 30-40 minuets.

At 8km from Souillac itself you are close to all amenities as well as Canoeing, a water park and a cycle path which takes you along the river and is suited to all ages.

The Dordogne Valley hosts a wide range of sites and activities for you to discover from wine tasting to hot air ballooning, medieval chateaux to underground rivers and caves to explore.

Whether you are visiting us for a week or more you will always find something to do in this beautiful area of France.

About Reservation team

Originally the dream of a golf-enthusiastic Frenchman to build his own golf course but who was unfortunately unable to see his dream fulfilled with only 6 holes completed, a small group of equally enthusiastic private UK investors acquired the golf course and outbuildings in 1995.

The number of lodges has since expanded to 92 in 7 hamlets carefully sculptured around the golf course, extended in 2002 to 18 holes. Most of the lodges are available for rent and the Club was renamed Souillac Golf and Country Club.

Each hamlet now has its own swimming pool, the bar and restaurant have been enlarged and upgraded and many more facilities have been added.

This co-operative ownership enables us to ensure that standards of quality and safety are maintained at a high level whilst we are able to keep our prices low, as there are no outside shareholder interests to satisfy.

The Souillac Golf & Country Club resort is set in the middle of an oak forest near to many of the Southwest's most renowned tourist sites, like Rocamadour, the famous Gouffre de Padirac, the medieval town of Sarlat, the caves of Lascaux and many other treasures of the heritage of the Lot and Périgord Noir.

This region is full of many attractions in amongst a green and varied countryside with plains, valleys, gorges and Forests. An environment which is suited to all types of outdoor activities: Mountain biking, hiking, horseriding, canoeing and many others.
