Great neighborhood....such a cute apartment. Totally loved it
Well equipped apt with big bathroom, closet and living room space. There are 2-3 floors of spiral stairs, it is a good climb...but well worth it. We had two parades go by while we stayed, and watched it from our apt window. Also easy walk to Grand Place and tourist sights.
Charming apartment just away from tourist area
Spacious, comfortable apartment in perfect location.
Loved this place. Spacious top floor apartment in a perfect location. Yes there are lots of stairs to get up to it but it didn't bother us. The apartment has everything you need. We stayed for a week and found it very homely. Jurgen and Annetta were both very helpful and accommodating. Excellent communication with Jurgen, very prompt replies to my emails. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much.
This place is in the perfect location. You are close to so many things that you’ll want to see while you’re in Brussels. Lots of restaurants and bars close. You feel right in the middle of the action here. The apartment is just like the pictures and the bed is super comfy! Now I would caution lite sleepers that it can be a little rowdy on the street level. But we loved staying here, so it didn’t bother us.
Perfect location and a perfect host. He is both gracious and accommodating. He helped me with local recommendations and was quick to answer any questions. Apartment is both charming and a wonderful kitchen to cook in. Everything you might need, made my extended stay in the city pleasant and comfortable. Top notch! 😊
Fabulous central location
This was a perfect location to explore Brussels and nearby cities/sights. The apartment itself is roomy with all the amenities you need. Plus, you're less than a 10 minute from the Grand-Place and, if you are there over May Day, you are right in the center of all the festivities.
A note of warning: Besides a bit of a hike on the spiral stairs to reach the place, the outside door is really heavy. Be sure you're not leaning on the key as you open it or, like me, you may end up snapping your key off. Thankfully Jurgen was easily able to get me a new one even when he himself was traveling.
Also, if you're coming by train, and have rolling suitcases, go ahead and take the subway to Anneessens stop. While you are close to the two train stations, there are a lot of cobblestones between them and the apartment.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely rent again on a return visit.
About 5 minutes walk from Grand' Place and Midi's Station, near the subway and the commodities of Midi's street
