Recommendations locally Best local bars for beer. Hanging bat or brauhaus or cloisters. . Fine restuarants - try Seafood at wiggams or great food at Timberyard . Nice walks. Walk to the 'Meadows have coffee in victor hugos. Longer walk - either through new town to Stockbridge and coffee and scones at botanical gardens or to Scottish Parliament and into Hollyrood Park

Excellent location, clean and comfortable

Super location in the heart of old Edinburgh. Well maintained and clean with parking in the basement. Beds comfortable.

On a more negative note. The apartment building houses students and on our first night we had to put up with very loud music from a nearby flat. Kitchen could have been better equipped. Only one pan, no decent knives, scissors or tea towels and contrary to description no DVD player. The apartment gets 4 stars for location and comfy beds.

Four night stay in Edinburgh was made even more enjoyable by the great location and amenities!

Recently completed a stay in Edinburgh at City Centre Aparment. Great location within walking distance of Edinburgh Castle and Royal Mile. Close to a selection of restaurants, pubs and grocery stores. Apartment had a good amount of space that allowed our grandson to run around. Ability to close off living /dining area made it great for our family's different schedules.

We had 4 adults and one infant and had lots of room . Two bathrooms made it easy on everyone.kitchen facilities enabled us to have breakfast daily and maintain drinks and snacks for other times.

Steve was very responsive to our requests and Diana was able to be flexible with our schedule when arranging to check us in. Overall a great experience I would recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh. Hope to return some day and see more of the city.

Basic flat, not far from Castle

We chose this apartment because of the parking and easy walking distance to Edinburgh Castle and this is what we got.

Very basic eg. No toaster, reasonably clean, uncomfortable beds, a bit in need of TLC.

Diana very nice and helpful. Walk to Grassmarket and Castle goes past a short seedy block, but no worries.

Nice, spacious property with parking lot en well equipped. Good location.

We were welcomed by Diana who explained everything there was to explain and she was very friendly. The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. Grocery shops and restaurants very near by. Location was very convenient, everything in the city centre was within walking distance. The parking place in the building was very practical.

Great location!

We stayed for 3nights and loved the location. Upon arrival we had an issue with parking and had to use the nearest NCP for the duration of our stay. But we were refunded the cost of parking almost immediately after our departure which we really appreciated! I would definitely recommend this location and would love to stay here again.
