A 760 Square Foot cabin with front and back covered decks (hammock hooks!) on 5 acres in Spruce Creek Acres. The property has an 8 foot waterfall and natural springs with trails to enjoy. Located off Highway 297 between the Bandy Creek Park Headquarters for Big South Fork and the Pickett State Park Visitor Center on Highway 154, this cabin offers the opportunity to access hiking trails in both Parks. In addition, the Pickett-Pogue International Dark Sky Park is nearby making this hideaway convenient for astronomers. I am sorry to say the cabin does not provide any type of horse facilities. In addition the cabin is not pet friendly and of course is smoke free. However, hikers, naturalists, astronomers, photographers plus anyone looking to enjoy attractions and events in the Big South Fork region will find "Hikers Hideaway" cabin and its location ideal. Once booked, the owner can provide hiking advice to some of the off the beaten path arches, waterfalls and land forms this unique area offers.
New for 2018 are patio door drapes, honeycomb blinds on the new addition french doors plus the bathroom window and the TV has been upgraded to a 42 inch model for use with the ROKU streaming.
