Mountain View Retreat
Relaxing home to put your feet up after a day of hiking. Loved the views of the horses and mountains in the distance.
Quiet and Relaxing Place
We loved this cottage, and the owners were very helpful.
The view is beautiful from the deck of this property—sunsets are gorgeous.
The living room area had extremely comfortable furniture, and while we didn’t use the dining area or cook much of anything, the kitchen and dining area had plenty of room.
The linens and bed in the Master bedroom were good quality and comfortable.
The property is very clean, and in a location from where you can get easily to downtown Asheville and other area attractions.
We’d definitely recommend this property.
Mike and Bettie were fantastic hosts for our long weekend mountain getaway! We got to feed the horses, Blondie, Nina, and sky! We went hiking at Catawba falls and got to experience all Asheville has to offer, including the mountain state fair! The cottage was clean and these hosts provided more than we could have ever asked for!
Fabulous stay with gorgeous views
The owners are Superstars! They provided everything we needed and MORE during our stay. I cannot say enough good things about this place or the owners. In addition to providing a very clean and comfortable home, they provided important information about area events as well as neighborhoods to investigate for retirement in a few years. We used the deck daily to enjoy meals as well as the beautiful mountain views, hot air balloon views, and for viewing stars at night. Also, the location gave a country feel, but was within minutes to Asheville, Biltmore, etc. What a find!
It was our absolute pleasure to have you as our guests. It truly makes us happy to see others enjoy our mountains as much as we do! You are welcome back any time!😊
Wonderful stay at the mountain cabin
Had the best of both worlds during our vacation to the Asheville area. This quaint mountain house made the perfect scenic retreat after busy days spent exploring downtown Asheville, local waterfalls and the Biltmore Estate. Minutes from everything we wanted to do. Proprietors could not have been more friendly and gracious, even let our daughter feed their horses. I hope we can stay there again next year when we plan to return!
Property was better than advertised. The view of the mountains was incredible. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well appointed. But the best parts of this rental were the hosts, Mike and Betty.
