Great place to stay! Clean and quiet.
After finding all hotels booked for the big graduation weekend, we had to find us a rental. What a blessing it was, to find this adorable studio apartment. My husband and I very much enjoyed our time here. Sarah and Kyle have created a lovely rental that is clean, nicely stocked with quality linens and kitchen supplies. The location is perfect too. Close to town, but hidden away from it all. We look forward to our next visit to Marquette and it is safe to say, we will never stay in a hotel again.
“Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.” Luke 9:58 (NIV)
Our daughter just moved to the area but does not have a guest room in her new home. But unlike the Lord Jesus Christ, we were not homeless during our visit. The Bird's Nest provided us with a perfect place to stay. The Nest was clean, quiet and furnished with everything we needed for our stay. On future visits to the area, we will check on the availability of the Nest -- that's for sure. Jim Tonneson
The “Birds Nest” is amazing!
My wife and I had an amazing weekend and we couldn’t have asked for a better vacation rental. The “Birds Nest” is extremely cozy and comfortable and is nestled back in the woods surrounded by beautiful scenery and wildlife. Every time we took our dogs outside there were always multiple deer in the yard.
The barn sits at the bottom of the hill roughly 100 yards from Sarah and Kyles home which allows for extra privacy and a secluded feel. It is truly an amazing property and words do not do it justice! It was an unforgettable experience that even our dogs didn’t want to leave! This will definitely be our go to vacation rental moving forward.
Thank you for everything,
Tony & Mel
A great place for a getaway in the U.P.! Sarah was a wonderful host and very personable. The property is beautiful and very quiet. The space was very clean and it was exactly as pictured. It was a wonderful place to stay. I would highly recommend!
Great visit to the "Bird's Nest"
Lovely stay at the"Bird's Nest". We visited during a cold snap in February, single digits, and really appreciated the heated garage! The apartment was perfect for our getaway to Marquette and the surrounding area. Loved the heated floors! Clean, well equipped, comfortable bed, couldn't have asked for more. Hosts were attentive and available. We were celebrating my birthday, and Sarah even put up a Happy Birthday banner! Would definitely recommend this property. Thanks Sarah!
