Live in regal splendour in this sumptuous and quintessentially English Georgian period apartment for two in one of Bath's finest architectural jewels, The Circus in central Bath. This famous building with lavish interiors, striking views and a charming garden for its residents, makes a splendid introduction to Bath.
The handsome blue and gold living room is lit up by tall sash windows overlooking the curve of The Circus and an elaborate crystal chandelier cascading from the high ceiling with its striking decorative cornicing. In this comfortable and beautifully furnished room are two large deep velvet sofas (one of which is a sofa bed) to sink into beside a large marble fireplace with a decorative coal effect fire. Panelled alcoves house the TV with DVD and a selection of films, games, magazines and coffee table books all to hand. A pretty writing desk has Wi-Fi and an I-pod player and a dining table beside the window seats up to four.
The romantic rose covered English manor bedroom has cerise coloured curtains dramatically framing a unique glazed bay window overlooking the gardens. There is a traditional 5" king bed with elegant drapes. The rich furnishings include an antique tall boy, dressing table and decorative chairs. There are large fitted wardrobes and a neatly disguised utility cupboard which houses a combination washing machine and dryer, along with other utility items.
The spacious black and white en-suite has traditional style fittings. Striking black and white marble tiles frame a bath with shower over. There is a hand basin with storage above and a WC.
The little fitted kitchen is carefully organised and well equipped, with a hob and electric oven, a microwave, and small fridge with freezer compartment. There are lots of elegant fine bone china and plenty of pretty glassware.
The apartment has shared use of a large and well-kept walled garden with terraces of manicured lawns, clipped shrubs and mature trees. There is an outdoor table with two chairs and a sun lounger for your personal use. From this tranquil and sunny setting you can admire the fascinating Bath Stone architecture.
Our recent visit to Bath was most enjoyable. Circus Garden is beautifully appointed and in an ideal location. The majestic setting of the building deserves the attention it gets. You and your staff were helpful and responsive. We would not hesitate to recommend Bath Holiday Rentals to anyone lucky enough to visit Bath.

The Circus was a masterpiece of John Wood the Elder and one of the key reasons Bath was awarded the title of World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is surrounded by interesting museums and galleries, great restaurants and bars, lovely shops and boutiques. Nearby are historic sites such as The Royal Crescent, The Assembly Rooms, The Roman Baths and The Bath Abbey. St. James's Square close by has a newsagents, deli and coffee shop, organic greengrocers, chemist, florist, hairdressers and delicious pre-cooked gourmet take away meals from Cavendish Cooks. There is a range of evening entertainment at the Theatre Royal, The Komedia comedy club, The Little Theatre Cinema or pampering at the Thermae Spa. You could coordinate your visit with one of the many festivals in music, literature and food or perhaps take a hot-air balloon flight from adjacent Victoria Park.
Bath Spa train station has direct lines from London Paddington and Bristol Temple Meads and is a 10-15 minute walk from the property. Alternatively a parking permit for one car is provided allowing you to park in one of the resident bays on the Circus itself or on surrounding streets.
