The kitchen is fully fitted with a washing machine, fridge/ freezer, electric oven, hob and microwave, plus unique features including reclaimed pine cupboards, beamed ceiling and a Belfast sink. Modern entertainment facilities in the lounge include Freeview TV, a DVD player, radio and a range of books, games and DVDs. To the exterior, there is an enclosed lawn garden with seating, a bike shed, off road parking for one car and further roadside parking.

The name Marmaduke was chosen as Lord Marmaduke Langdale owned the land in Charles I reign ,he was a famous General for Charles I and is buried in the village church and to escape the roundheads he rode out of Sancton on a cow dressed as a milk maid so it seemed a fitting name been cattle farmers ourselves..
The Wolds Way is a short distance from the cottage and the area has many walks and Nature Sites.As a member of the Puffin Trail Yorkshire Wildlife we offer maps and details of places to visit.
