The apartment, which has been renovated in 2013, is on the first floor of a residence with lift ideally located in Val Thorens, Les 3 Vallées ski area (Méribel, Courchevel, Les Menuires and Val-Thorens).
At the foot of the slopes, in Rue du Soleil, this 23 m² apartment has been fully renovated during the summer 2013 in a mountain style with quality woodworks and materials.
When you walk in, you find on your right a separate toilet and then the separate bathroom. The bathroom is fully renovated and has a bath and a heated towel rail.
On the left, there are bunk beds with quality beds and woodworks all around it. The lower bed has a narrow entrance and is suitable for a child ( 15 years old).
A solid wooden door separates this entrance to the second entrance of the apartment to guarantee privacy between the guests.
The second part of the apartment is composed of an open plan fully fitted kitchen with new household appliance: micro-wave, new induction hob, several dishes and utensils, raclette machine, huge and quiet washing machine and traditional and Nespresso coffee machine. There is a large untreated granite working surface to have convivial meals.
The living room is equipped with a cosy new double sofa-bed with a facing flat screen television with Blu-ray DVD player, PlayStation 3 and iPod MP3 player. A large window bay opens onto a large balcony with wonderful views of the mountain to the South-West. The balcony is not accessible from the outside as the first floor is very high.
We ask you to bring your own sheets and towels but you can also ask it for a rent.
You leave the house, walk on 10 m and put your skis on. The ski schools including the ESF are in front of the entrance and shops and amenities are around: ski packages, restaurants, bakery, shopping arcades and child-care centre. A 9000 m² relaxing centre with pool, sauna, hammam, Spas, tennis, squash, massages, children games, etc. is accessible on foot.
You can access a private ski room. The apartment is very sunny in one of the best areas of Val Thorens.

Val Thorens is for me the best resort in the Alps. This is by far the assurance of having the best snow, the off piste is fantastic and the atmosphere of the car-free station is great.

The resort has been built around the ski slopes. You park your vehicle in front of the residence to unload your luggage and then you park it in one of the public parkings of the resort (Valtho Parc) for the rest of the stay without having to regret it as everything is central and accessible on foot no matter the residence you stay in. Book your parking space on Internet (indifferently choose parking P2 or P1).
The lowest part of the resort is particularly privileged. Rue du Soleil is just in front of the main attractions of the different ski schools. You can accompany your children to their courses and come back to finish you coffee before enjoying the resort.
Which is not that easy for the residences that are located to the highest part of the resort.
No matter the residence of Rue du Soleil, the slopes are at your doorstep.
An elevator leads you directly and without effort to the entrance of the shopping centre that houses the sport centre of the resort.
It is also easy for your children to come back to the apartment alone as Rue du Soleil is just in front of their return point.
The noisy bars of Val Thorens are essentially concentrated in the highest part of the resort, far from this area. It is ideal to enjoy peaceful family holidays.
Rue du Soleil concentrates over 100 metres, the French Ski School (ESF), Ski Cool, a child-care centre for the little ones, a point of sale of ski packages, a bakery, several restaurants, shops, ski rental shops, etc.
