4 nights in Verona
We enjoyed staying at Cristina’s apartment. She was very welcoming and helpful on arrival. The apartment has comfortable beds and a good shower as well as good windows and shutters to keep out street noise and light. The kitchen has everything you’d expect and has a small selection of oil and vinegar, S&p etc as well as washing essentials. It was warm whilst we were visiting and being from Scotland we didn’t find the air conditioning in the living area was sufficient cooling for us in the bedrooms as we aren’t used to heat. Others may be fine though. Don’t use Google maps to find the apartment as it takes you to the wrong block. Block 14 is the one to the south-west of the group. If arriving by car approach from the street to the north as per Google maps but on foot from the rail station it’s accessed off Case Ferrovieri Porta Nova. Access is via entry phone system at gates using buzzer with owner’s name. Cristina suggested we take the early train to Venice which we did and would thoroughly recommend. Home at lunchtime to avoid the crowds.

Verona June 2018
Very comfortable apartment. It sleeps 4 but as there were only 2 of us it was quite spacious. Very well situated being close to the main railway station and bus station it is only 1 mile to the main square Piazza Bra so easy access to town centre too. Christina the owner is very friendly and very helpful. She explained how every thing worked in the apartment and showed us where to find essentials such as the nearest supermarket. She had even bought in a few things for us, biscuits, yoghurts, etc. There is lots of useful tourist information provided in the apartment too- city maps, bus timetable, tourist guide and a few leaflets for things to see & do.

Very spacious comfortable apartment
This is a spacious comfortable apartment to stay in. It was very clean and everything worked. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed visiting Verona which has some amazing churches as well as the Roman arena and theatre, and the castelvecchio. We spent one day at Lake Garda using bus and boat but, if you had a car, you could go further and also visit country areas. We arrived by train and Cristina met us near the station as it would be hard to find your way to the apartment on your own although it’s quite close to the station. The location is good if you’re using the station (bus station and airport bus too) as we did, but there are no shops very close by. Within about 10 minutes walk are small shops and a bit further, near the town centre, are two supermarkets. You can use buses to get to the centre or walk – we sometimes got a bus back! The large apartment was wonderful after being cramped in a small hotel room in Venice and a somewhat larger one in Bologna. We were able to do a load of washing and dry it easily, and eat food we’d bought ourselves instead of eating in cafes and restaurants all the time. The beds are really comfortable. Although you can hear a little bit of road nose from outside at night/early morning, it’s really very quiet in the flat. The description and photos are accurate. I especially like having a big shower and shower room. Cristina was really friendly and helpful, both before and after we arrived, e.g. explaining to us where things are using a map. There were also maps on the wall, including one of Lake Garda which was useful, and also helpful leaflets and information. Cristina said we could contact her on her mobile any time we needed to but we had no problems and didn’t need to. I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Verona unless they want to be closer to the centre (and it could be hard to find somewhere closer). There are some big busy roads on the way to the centre of the city but, once past these, it's an easy walk - and flat.
