Situated on the edge of Cross Inn village, 9 miles from Aberaeron and 18 miles to Cardigan and Aberystwyth. Convenient location, central to a wide range of local attractions and activities.

Cei Bach lovely beach, much quieter than New Quay beach. 2 miles

You can choose from dinghy sailing, yacht cruising, power boating, windsurfing and kayaking with both short sessions and longer courses suitable for all levels and abilities Cardigan Bay Watersports. 2 miles

Tresaith is set in a small sheltered sandy bay named after the River Saith which cascades as a waterfall over the cliffs to the beach. The beach has a slipway and is a popular sailing destination. An excellent beach for watersports - wide and sandy, but limited parking. 12 miles


The Ceredigion Coast Path links together a treasury of environmental, natural and heritage assets within one of the most scenic coastal areas of Wales: 2 miles


There is superb fishing all around the New Quay area:

Sea Fishing - The harbour wall remains a popular venue for children. The area is also renowned as a UK bass hotspot. Boats available from the New Quay harbour, bookings taken on the quay. 2 miles

Coarse fishing -many lakes and river including Llanarth Coarse Fishery. 3 miles

Game fishing – River Teifi is one of the UK’s most famous Salmon rivers.


Cardigan Golf Club is a fine championship course measuring 6687 yards, Par 72, SSS 73. 21 miles


The 34km (21 mile) Ystwyth Trail connects Aberystwyth, on the shore of Ceredigion's Bay, with Tregaron in the northern Teifi Valley. 18 miles

Pony Trekking...

Horse riding is available in a few locations including Gilfach yr Halen Llwyncelyn. 4.8 miles

This large accommodation is located near the West Wales coast - close to the village of Cross Inn and within walking distance (approx 200 yds) of the village pub and shop. There is also a swimming pool available in the adjacent caravan park (fee payable). The Blue Flag beach at New Quay is a 2 minute drive and you can also catch a boat to see the dolphins from here.

The picturesque seaside town of New Quay on the West Wales coastline is a delight to visit at any time of year. New Quay remains one of the favourite holiday destinations of thousands of people from Wales each year. For many families, taking holidays at New Quay is a tradition stretching back for generations. The pretty seaside village of Llangrannog is also just a few miles down the coast with its dry ski slope, horse riding, golf etc.

Cardigan Bay, which is dotted with pretty little resorts and stretches of spectacular Heritage Coastland, is home to bottlenose dolphins, porpoises and seals. The Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron lies 9 miles to the North. This architectural gem is full of interest. There's a Sea Aquarium, the famous Harbourmaster Restaurant and the National Trust's Llanerchaeron estate. Travel inland from Aberaeron to the Teifi Valley. A favourite with visitors is Cenarth Falls, a famous beauty spot. The National Trust cove at Cwmtydu is also just four miles away.

From Aberystwyth travel on the narrow-gauge Vale of Rheidol Railway to experience the waterfalls at Devil's Bridge or visit the ruins at Strata Florida Abbey, near Pontrhydfendigaid in the Cambrian mountains. Central for touring Wales and ideal for pursuits such as angling, sailing, birdwatching, cycling and walking.
