Affordable luxury apartment situated by the sea on the beach of Lavadores. Located in a modern building, facing the Atlantic Ocean, in Vila Nova de Gaia - Porto - near the mouth of the River Douro.

This 2 bedroom apartment sleeps 4 and is new. Is located on the first line on the beach front of Lavadores, the modern area on the coast of Vila Nova de Gaia. Ideal for holiday or short stay and also a great place to live.

Features a spacious living room and kitchen in open space, with balcony facing the sea, where you can relax, sunbathe and admire the beautiful sunset. The room is equipped with comfortable and modern sofas, has a 55 inch LCD Smart TV, cable TV with more than 100 channels and free access to wireless Internet of 50 Mb/s. The spacious kitchen is equipped with all appliances, equipments and utensils needed.

The 2 rooms are equipped with king size beds and super comfortable mattresses to allow a deep rest and relaxing. One of the rooms is a suite with full bathroom and jacuzzi. The other is a large double bedroom with a bathroom. Both rooms have a balcony facing the sea and you can enjoy the magnificent view from each room.

Basement garage (box) for 2 cars.

The apartment has a generous area of 120 square meters

Bath towels are provided and new bedding.

Beautiful, comfortable aparment with outstanding sea views.

The apartment is very conveniently positioned on the sea front with lovely views of the ocean. There are some lovely bars and restaurants within walking distance and the beach is a two minute walk across the road. Porto is within easy reach by bus and we managed very well using the regular bus service. Taxis are plentiful and good value for money and we were delighted at not having to hire a car.

Marcos was incredibly helpful and a man of his word. He is the most easy person to deal with and it would be great if all property managers were as reliable as he! The apartment is well appointed and we found the beds really comfortable. It was great to have the use of deck chairs and a beach umbrella.

Thank you Marcos for making our stay so memorable and we very much hope to return.

AMAZING!!!!

The apartment was better than advertised. Beautifully decorated & furnished. A laundry room in the apartment was a surprise bonus. So spacious & bright. The view was spectacular, waking every morning to the view of the ocean & falling to sleep with the sound of the waves crashing was so peaceful & relaxing. The proximity to near by LOCAL restaurants & bus stop made this stay perfect! The property owner and associated were professional, friendly & extremely helpful. What a great experience from start to finish. I come to Portugal every year, I know found my new home away from home. I could not imagine ever staying at a hotel or another apartment. Everything you could want out of your holiday stay us right here.

Great place to relax

Just returned after spending a week here. The apartment was exactly as advertised. Beautiful location about 20 minutes from Porto, but easy access using local transport. Marcos met us at the apartment and showed us around, very clean, well maintained and everything you needed should you wish to cater for your family. Marcos even provided sun umbrella and wind sheet for the beach. I would definitely recommend this apartment and can't wait to return. There are a handful of local restaurants and we tried a few. However the Casa Branca was awful, the service was bad, could not get the choice of wine, advertised Hake on the menu but when asked whether it was fresh or salted the waiter was saying it was whiting fillets and to top it off there were little flies on the table cloth. Needless to say we left without eating there. We also visited the Casaroa Restaurant , typically Portugese and that was very good.

A wonderfully well appointed, spacious property

The property is exactly as advertised. It is well equipped and the owner met us on time and welcomed us with fruit and flowers; a nice touch. He was most helpful. The views from the balconies are lovely. The apartment is lovely, comfortable, clean, well appointed throughout, spacious and enjoyable. And the beds are simply wonderful. The access to the beach is easy and the walking/biking trail along the ocean is really grand. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Een prachtig appartement met alles erop en eraan. Schoon en leuk ingericht.

Wij waren 4 t/m 9 okt. 2016 in dit mooie appartement.

Alles zag er prachtig uit, we hebben het heerlijk gehad.

Beneden het strand en heel veel leuke restaurants. Met tips van Marcos natuurlijk.

Heerlijk een fietstocht langs het strand gemaakt. Ook beneden kon je fietsen huren. De 2 fietsen, die bij het appartement hoorde waren niet al te best maar dit hebben wij door gegeven aan Marcos. Hij zorgt ervoor, dat deze worden gemaakt.

Vanuit het appartement namen wij een taxi naar Porto, die goedkoper was dan de bus. (MET 4 PERSONEN)

Met het heerlijke weer erbij hebben wij een topvakantie gehad. Wij komen graag terug. Marcos bedankt.

One perfect apartament!!

One perfect holiday, one perfect apartment.

This apartment is perfect situated directly to the most important beaches and very close to the city. Is very, very clean, exactly as in the photos and has all you need, also if you want to make a ride with the bikes he holds two. Ms. Marcos is very friendly and he helpful you with all you need. After many searches and after our holiday (7 nights) we realized that is perfect location. You can easily reach the beaches, supermarkets, bars, the bus station for the city is near the building. From the apartment you can walk for 30-40 minutes to the old town and to the most important vineyards. In our opinion after visiting many city’s Porto is probably the most beautiful city in Europe. We will definitely come back in the same location. We highly recommended this location.

A relaxed beach atmosphere. An extension of 15 km of white sandy beaches, cycling tracks and 'jogging' along the beach that can lead you to the world famous 'port wine' cellars, just 6 km from the apartment. We provide 2 full suspension aluminum bicycles for free use of guests.

A children's playground is located less than 150 metres, next to the sea.

The apartment is located near local restaurants, bars and cafés and bakeries with hotcakes and pastries; It is 500 metres from the mouth of the Douro River, where it meets the Atlantic Ocean, which is also home to many species of birds and nature reserve; It is 5 Km from shopping centres, 5 Km from golf courses, 6 km from the historic area of Porto and the nightlife, with bars and live music. The city was awarded the distinction of best destination in Europe in 2012 by international tourism magazines. A view of the 'night of Porto' is 'mandatory'.

A car, although recommended, is not indispensable. A bus stop with 2 lines and periodicity of 30 and 20 minutes is located immediately in front of the building.

A quiet and relaxing location, close to everything. A great place to spend your holidays, no matter if you are going to enjoy the beach, walking by the sea, visit the city, make a historic, monumental 'tour' or boating up the River, or even if you mix with the local population, feel the beat from the heart of the city and experience their food, wines, customs, way of leaving and culture. There is everything for everyone, within a walking distance.

Definitely, it is not just great for the summer, but a great place to stay all year round.
