43 sqm duplex in Elinka apartment building on the 5th and 6th floor : 1 living room, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 shower room, 2 WC (one separate WC). Ski-in/ski out, close to the departures for ESF ski school. Perfectly located in the quiet area of La Falaise, at the foot of the slopes, close to shops (bakery, supermarket, cafés and restaurants) and parking.

Comfortable and nice apartment with plenty of storage space, perfect for families. South east orientation. Prices include cleaning of the apartment at the end of stay, all bedding, towels, beds made on arrival.

At the first level: 1 entrance with cupboards, 1 fully equipped open plan kitchen, 1 dining area for 6 people, 1 living room with 1 comfortable sofa-bed (2 sleeping arrangements available), 1 balcony with a nice view of the mountains and the resort. 1 bathroom with a bath, 1 separate toilet. Level 2: 1 bedroom with a 140 bed which can also have a baby cot, 1 bedroom with bunk beds, 1 shower room with shower and toilets.

Secured and heated ski locker in the ski room of the building.

Perfect accommodation marred only by poor arrival process

We had a lovely week in this apartment in Avoriaz. It is small but had everything we needed for a family of four. The location is perfect - close to the slopes and ski school, near the covered parking, and away from the noisy bars.

The only negative was when we arrived at the pre-arranged time we called the agency who hold the keys only to be told the apartment wasn’t ready. We had been on the road all day, had all our luggage and two tired children with us. Five minutes later the agency called back to say they were mistaken and the apartment was ready. But then they stopped answering the phone or text messages. We were waiting in the building lobby for 40 minutes with no idea where to go and nobody to help us. Eventually my husband found an agency representative to give us the keys, but only by asking around at the lift pass office and at another agency office did he eventually track down the right person! This was a terrible start to our holiday!

Otherwise all was well and we had a great week.

Lovely apartment. Great position.

This apartment worked really well for our family of 5. It was modern, comfortable and cosy. Everything needed for a family ski trip, including lift ticket office in the building reception. Also 2 minutes from the supermarket, and a great bar and restaurant. We would look to rent again.

Perfect

The apartment was exactly as described. Location is perfect, particularly with the supermarket just across the road. We ate in most evenings and the cooking facilities were very good for simple family meals. The apartment was warm and comfortable and just about big enough for the four of us. We would definitely consider this apartment again if we come back to Avoriaz.

Excellent location and well maintained property.

The accommodation is very close to the drop off point for transport and is perfect for what we needed. A well equipped kitchen and basic provisions was provided which was appreciated. The accommodation was very clean and the pictures are a perfect reflection of the internal aspects of the apartment. Would highly recommend and would book again. Thank you.

Fabulous Apartment !!!!

We choose to do a book it yourself holiday this time and picked a winner in the apartment. We are 2 adults, a 6yr old and 2 yr old and was perfect. Enough space for everyone and enough space not to be living on top of each other 24/7...

It had all mod cons and was overall a neat and tidy, modern place to stay. If you know Avoriaz, the apartment is located at the top end near the 'drop off and pick up parking zone. Not to close to be affected but close enough to be able to get your luggage back and forth easy enough..There is a supermarket and restaurants opposite. The walk to the 'center' is 5/15 min depending if you are pulling a 2 year old on a sledge and 6 year old on skis or not.

We were met by a lovely lady named Carole who showed us the apartment and was in town all the time if we needed anything, infact she was everywhere, we probably saw her walking around town daily. But having this contact was a god send as she stored our cases for us on the day of departure as we have a late flight until we needed them.

Lack of snow!!! what lack of snow ????? Skiing was also great

If we go back to Avoriaz we will definitely think about re booking this apartment.

Un appartement bien équipé et situé parfaitement

Il est possible to partir et rentrer par ski. Toutes les remontées mécaniques et les pistes vers Super Morzine sont accessible rapidement par les pistes vertes. L’appartement est en face de la boulangerie, 5Om d’un supermarché et tout proche de quelques restaurants mais le quartier est calme et tranquille pendant la nuit. Pour aller au centre d'Avoriaz il est seulement 400 metres plus loin. En arrivée on peut marcher facilement du Parking couvert et la zone de dépôt. C'est le meilleur hébergement où nous avons séjourné pendant 30 ans de ski dans les Alpes.

Avoriaz is a sought after destination for skiing located right in the heart of the ski area of Les Portes du Soleil, which will surprise you by its originality. The resort is always under the snow, and the cars are prohibited so you can always have your skis on to wander between the wooden residences which bend in the landscape. It is also a lively resort on a daily basis where you will satisfy all your needs of relaxation and getting away, very close to your home!
