Great Apartment in Rome
My family stayed in Irene's apartment in Rome. We thought the location was fantastic and the views were amazing. The amenities in the apartment were great and we enjoyed ourselves the entire week we stayed in Rome. Irene was gracious and always available to help out. When we come back to Rome we will definitely book our time at Irene's place. We highly recommend it!!
First class apartment with unbelievable views
What a treat it was to stay at this gorgeous apartment! The views are absolutely beautiful and Irene is a lovely hostess. Communication with her was great leading up to the trip. She picked us up at a Metro station and brought us up to apartment. As soon as we walked in, we knew we loved the apartment. The views are simply stunning! The dining room has a breathtaking view of Rome's skyline. This was wonderful because we traveled with two teenagers. We wanted to let them sleep a little longer without feeling like we were missing out. Enjoying the view while they slept was perfect! The bedrooms are spacious and each has a bathroom. The beds (one is a pull out couch) were comfortable. The apartment has AC in the living room and each bedroom has a fan with a mister. There are actually two terraces in the apartment. The one with the best view has space for three people and a table. The other terrace is bigger but the view, while still good, is not as expansive as the smaller terrace. The kitchen is very modern and Irene had stocked the kitchen with more food than I have ever had at any of the VRBOs we have stayed at. There was bread, fruit, butter, jelly, Nutella, pasta, olive oil, cheese, coffee (for no matter how you prepare it) and a bottle of champagne. I know I am forgetting some of the details she provided. She truly thought of everything!
The apartment is about a 15 minute walk to St. Peter's Basilica. We loved to walk and even walked to the Colosseum from the apartment. There is so much to see that we didn't want to miss it by being in the metro (though the metro stop is not far either). I loved this apartment and truly enjoyed our visit to Rome. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much, Irene! What a lovely stay we had with you!
My sister, my husband and I stayed at this apartment. It was spacious and nice to have 2 seperate rooms and 2 bathrooms for our stay. The owner Irene left some snacks and drinks for us which was very kind. Irene also was very responsive when we asked questions. We ate out near her apartment and had some of the best food ever - when we got in the more touristy area the food was still good but no where near the caliber of the neighborhood we were in. The walk from the apartment to the metro was about 10-15 minutes. It was easy to get to the main tourist area with the metro. We didn’t mind too much the walking and stairs -but be aware that this apartment will require a uphill walk of about 8 minutes and multiple flights of stairs. However, to get a view of the whole city you have to be up high.
The beds were comfortable- the shower worked well. The laundry room was useful to us.
The location was absolutely fantastic (view-wise and geographically), the apartment outstanding, and Irene could not have been more hospitable. This will, without a doubt, be our first preference on future trips. Thanks Irene.....
The location of the rental was excellent. It's very clean and spacious. The view from the dining area and the terrace are magnificent. The owner was great to work with. I would definitely recommend.
