This apartment is located in the center of Blois. It's an old building that was tastefully renovated and very comfortable. Sylvaine was so accommodating and it was apparent that she and her husband took pride in their beautiful creation. There's so much to see in this area that we will be back to try to take in the rest of what we missed!
Our family of 4 (2 teens) stayed in the Jade Suite for 2 nights and loved every minute of it, we didn't want to leave! The apartment is immaculate and beautifully decorated. Sylviane and Andre let us leave our bags early then greeted us with a bottle of wine when we checked in. Sylviane also drove us to our car rental when we left, which we greatly appreciated! Blois was a breath of fresh air after a busy week in Paris, the apartment is an easy walk from the train station. We walked around the village, rented bikes and rode to Chambord, and explored the chateau at Blois. Overall an excellent stay, just a little too short!
We were met at the station by Sylviane & Andre, a very pleasant surprise.
We could not speak more highly of them both. The apartment located right in the centre of beautiful Blois was bright, Airy & extremely clean. We did not want for anything. We did not need a car & although it was raining heavily , we were able to visit Chaumont-sur-Loire Chateaux, as well as Blois.
On departing, again they offered to take us to the station.
As it was our first stop after arriving in France, we were very impressed with the hospitality & they made it very hard for others to follow over the next five weeks.
A pleasure to recommend.
Our arrival was a bit tricky, in the dark after a long drive in the rain & discovering google maps didn't know about the one-way streets! But Sylviane was on the end of the phone, & she & Andre came to meet us when we got lost, conducted us to the car park across the street, & telephoned a nearby restaurant that was still open to reserve us a table for dinner.
The apartment is just perfect, clean & bright with all the facilities we needed. Soap, loo rolls, dishwasher detergent, coffee, tea etc all provided.
The location is amazing - a short walk to the chateau, cathedral & town centre, with superb views. Blois is a bit hilly so be prepared for steps & slopes. The car park right opposite charges hourly but there are long-term car parks a short walk away for €12 per week (you can come & go).
We had a fabulous time here & will be back. Highly recommended.
We were thoroughly delighted with this apartment. It was central, only a few minutes walk to Blois Chateau and town centre, with small supermarket, patisseries, charcuteries, restaurants and many shops & boutiques. About a 5 minute walk to parking, which was only 12 euros for 1 week. There was also a car park across the road, which was great for loading/unloading and free on weekends and after hours. The apartment was beautifully renovated, comfortable and everything that we needed.
It was a great base to explore the Loire Valley and all of the attractions that it offers.
Sylviane and Andre are delightful and couldn't do enough to assist us with helpful advice on Blois and surrounding areas.

My husband and I loved the Suite Jade. It was the perfect vacation rental. The owners, Sylviane and Andre, came to pick us up in their car at the train station when we arrived. They are lovely people. They are full of helpful advice about the town and the area and they made sure we had all we needed for a nice stay. They even had a bottle of local wine waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived.
The apartment is located in a pedestrian zone, conveniently close to the castle, restaurants and shops, but on a quiet street. The building is 17th century but the apartment interior is brand new, with all furniture and appliances in perfect condition. It was spotlessly clean. The decor is simple and tasteful. The living room windows open to a nice view of trees and the rooftops of Blois. The bedroom faces an inner courtyard and therefore it is absolutely quiet and dark at night. It was great for sleeping soundly. The kitchen is well equipped so we cooked some nice meals with the local products available at the weekly outdoor markets. Overall, it felt very homey, with all kinds of small touches that made it a comfortable place to stay. I absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Blois and the Loire Valley. I hope we will return in the future.
