Huddled amongst a row of historical houses in central Flushing, this fine village property has been immaculately refurbished throughout, to provide 5* home comfort for groups of up to 8.

With the beautiful seaside surroundings reflected throughout its interior, the property is aptly named ‘Ninevah’ (the ‘House of Fish’) and provides a luxurious serene setting in which to relax and unwind here for the ultimate family getaway!

The period elegance of the property is beautifully conveyed in the front living room, with a restful and refined palette used to provide a tranquil and inviting ambience ideal for socialising. The room offers the ideal haven for adult conversation throughout the year, with a fine fireplace presenting a cosy ambience from its real flame gas fire. Guests wishing to leisurely unwind can easily enjoy the spacious comfort of the second sitting room, with log burning stove, comfortable sofa's and flat screen TV with DVD player. Ninevah is also equipped with WIFI access for guest’s use.

A splendid ‘heart of the home’ scene features to the beautifully finished kitchen, which is presented in a contemporary country-style and perfectly befits a luxury self-catering stay, with all the must have appliances to hand. Relaxed morning breakfasts and meals can easily be enjoyed to the dining table whilst the elegant separate dining room serves as the perfect venue for hosting more formal occasions during your stay. French doors opening directly out onto a charming rear courtyard complete with garden furniture and pretty potted plants.

Stunning house - we loved it!

When we booked the cottage we were aware that the house had just been renovated but we were shocked when we opened the door - THE HOUSE WAS STUNNING!! The standard of decoration and cleanliness was above anything we have experienced from a holiday cottage in the past. The owners had thoughtfully left us with a cream tea and even a basket of logs for the wood-burning stove.

We had 3 children along with granny and grandad in our party and the house never felt cramped. The 2 sitting rooms meant that when the kids wanted to play on the games console the adults could relax without the noise and the large table in the dining room meant we could all enjoy a meal together, very rare in our house!

As out stay was in January we didn't get to use the courtyard garden but we could imagine being able to throw open the doors in the summer and have breakfast outside.

The master bedroom reminded us of a hotel, calming colours and a HUGE comfortable bed - having both a shower and a bath in the ensuite was wonderful. The other bedrooms were also lovely and I wanted to take the freestanding bath in the family bathroom home!

Ninevah has a very luxurious feel about it and we were very sad to leave - we will recommend your services to as many people as we can, thank you and all the best!
