Perfect Verona Villa!
Eight of us cycling ladies from Canada enjoyed a perfect 3 night stay at Villa Camilla prior to our cycling adventure.
It suited us in every aspect.
The spacious , clean rooms and excellent location meant that we could spread out and also come together whenever we wanted. In fact, we did not even use all of the rooms!
The furnishing were most adequate and the supplies provided helped us in preparing some of our own meals . We appreciated being on a quieter street and yet close enough to the central happenings of charming Verona. If we had stayed longer, I am certain we would have used the garden area as well.
Costanza, the rental administrator, was most gracious in going over details related to the home and she very kindly arranged for a van to pick us up on our departure date.
The only frustration for us was in trying to get the clothes dryer to generate heat. Drying clothes became a lengthy process. Perhaps the heating element was malfunctioning.
All of us would highly recommend this place particularly for a large group.
beautiful house, good location. couldn't ask for more.
I was very pleasantly surprised that the whole home was for rent. I was concerned it was going to be a duplex. My family and another had a fabulous time there. It was four adults, two teens, and three children it was spacious and allowed us different rooms to socialize in. The kitchen was fantastic. We had several wonderful meals there. It was about a 20 minute walk to the train station. We took day trips to Lake Garda and to Bologna
Spacious and well-equipped Liberty style home with large kitchen and fenced yard.
Villa Camilla is a home away from home for sure. Perfect for families traveling with children. Outdoor grill and an eating area in the side yard, a variety of bedrooms and baths, laundry room, and a quiet library. Close to the train station, the city wall, cafes, and coffee shops. Grocery store as well as restaurants in reasonable walking distance. The agent was prompt in meeting us at check in and in getting a plumber for a minor shower drain issue.
Classic and elegant villa in the heart of Verona
My family and I stayed for 5 nights in June at Villa Camilla. It is a charming and elegant two-story house with a private parking walking distance (10-15min) to the historic part of Verona. The management team were very responsive (via phone and email) and resolved any issues we had and answered all our questions. And air conditioning really helped in the hot day we happened to experience in Verona. The taxis in this town were also amazing -- they will show up 2 minutes after being called and were very efficient, so we did not even need to use our car at all during the stay. But we were glad to have a private parking available to us.
Family fun in central Verona
The Villa Camilla is located just a few blocks off Piazza Bra and one block from River Adige, in walking distance of many central Verona sites. It was large and accommodating for our family of 11. We felt as if we were in an historic Italian villa, which indeed we were. The bathrooms were clean and modern. The kitchen was fully equipped and has a large refrigerator. Make sure you understand how to operate an Italian clothes dryer if you intend to use it! We were disappointed that we had bought food for a cookout and the gas grill was not functional. The management tried but was unable to get it repaired in time. The staff from Domus Rental who greeted us was extraordinarily helpful and easy to work with. Never have we had an easier check-in or check-out.

The monuments are all embraced in the city centre and surrounded by the river Adige.
