About Julie Gates
My husband, Don and I live on the property. We love to travel. Don was raised in a missionary family. He was born in Bolivia and raised in Peru. He speaks Spanish fluently. Julie is the face you'll see most often. She is a busy mom and spends a lot of time sewing (crochet and knitting) while watching her boys play baseball.

What makes this House unique
This property is very quiet and safe. Ladies traveling alone and families will feel safe at all times. If you can't sleep with noise, this is the house for you. Only one neighbor in a rural location.

Beautiful, peaceful retreat
My family and I genuinely enjoyed this peaceful home. It was very quiet and warm. The couches are very comfortable for relaxing and the kitchen was all set up for cooking. We even saw deer eating on the property in the morning, it was so beautiful and peaceful. I was very happy to see the full laundry room. I have never stayed in a home that was so perfectly equipped for travelers.
I enjoyed meeting the host, Julie. Her son runs a squirrel rescue on the property and we saw him feeding the squirrels. They all had a very unique story on how he had rescued them as babies.
My only negative is that my stay was too short. I will definitely be returning to this beautiful little cottage.
It was such a pleasure to meet you and your beautiful family. Please come back any time.
