...Hier passt einfach alles.Lage und Ausstattung sind sehr schön.Für Angler(Fliegenfischer Strecke!) und Naturliebhaber genau das richtige.Wir waren eine Woche mit Hund vor Ort und es war perfekt.Die Vermieter sind sehr sehr nett und geben schöne Tips um diesen Teil der Bretagne genießen zu können.Wir haben uns echt über die Gastfreundlichkeit gefreut.Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und sehr sauber,es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder,weil es einer unserer schönsten Aufenthalte in der Bretagne war.Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen.Wir freuen uns schon wenn die andere Unterkunft fertig ist.Wir würden sofort buchen....

Renovated riverside house

The house had been fairly recently renovated (according to one of the owners), however it lacked a few extra touches, e.g. Somewhere to hang wet towels after showering, pillows not cushions on the bed, information re., nearest doctor, vet.

Information on rubbish removal and recycling.

There was no wi-fi at all and sometimes poor phone signal.

Dogs were accepted but there was no safe area for them to exercise. Some areas were unsafe for very young children.

Our week at the property was marred by the visit of mice who left their droppings on the sofa and clothes in the bedrooms, there was also evidence of them in the kitchen. Their presence was reported to the owner.

There are lovely walks from the property and plenty of places to explore in the surrounding countryside and coast, lots of good restaurants.

We experienced some confusion with actual costs, dealing with two different family members at different times, this was resolved at the end of our stay.

Le Pont Neuf

Our stay at le Pont Neuf in le Vieux Marché was very pleasant. The house was spacious, comfortable and well equiped. The owners of the house were very kind. The surroundings are beautiful and perfect for day trips.

Immaculate, peaceful and beautiful surroundings.

This holiday home was immaculate, tastefully decorated (especially the bedrooms), and very well stocked. It's the perfect place to go for peace and quiet and to "get away from it all". There are some very nice walks starting at the front door of the gite. We also found it a handy location for hopping in the car and seeing other things in the area.

The owners were very warm, friendly and happy to help.

Erholung pur in wunderbarer Natur an tollem Ort

Gleich vorab - hier würden wir jederzeit wieder sehr gerne Urlaub machen! Wir kamen zu zweit mit Hund und fanden ein sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes, sauberes, gemütliches Häuschen vor. Die Lage ist ein Traum: Ruhe, Natur, das Flüsschen vor der Tür und alles am Ende einer Sackgasse, also garantiert ohne Verkehr! Alle notwendigen Informationen bekamen wir bei der Ankunft von dem charmanten Vermieter-Ehepaar mitgeteilt. Inklusive Tipps, wo man einkaufen, wo man lecker essen gehen und was man unternehmen kann. Alles, was man zum täglichen Leben braucht, findet man in kurzer Fahrentfernung. Ohne Auto ist man allerdings aufgeschmissen...

Französische Sprachkenntnisse sind auf jeden Fall erforderlich/hilfreich. Monsieur Scolan verfügt über ein großes Wissen an Geschichte und Geschichtchen der Gegend. Auch die Führung durch die ehemalige Mühle ist unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Kurz - die eine Woche war definitiv zu kurz - wir werden wiederkommen!
