About Vacasa of Central Oregon
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers. Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team. Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Great location- cool house
Loved how the house backs up to empty woods. We saw many birds, chipmunks, and deer. House was easy to find, and close to the town. The mattresses are worn out (very soft) and need to be replaced. I would not rent again until those are updated.
Timothy, thank you for sharing your feedback about the mattresses. We are happy you enjoyed the house and location. We will pass your suggestions over to the local manager for consideration. We look forward to hosting you next time!
Quirky, somewhat awkward, home in a quiet neighborhood
The location of this house was convenient to outdoor activities and we enjoyed access to the community pool. The neighborhood was quiet, with deer wandering through the yard. The kitchen was adequately provisioned (we brought our own sharp knives), and there was plenty of room for our group of 8 at the dining table and on the deck. However, 3 out of the 4 beds we used were very uncomfortable. One was extremely hard , and 2 were extremely soft, leading to backaches and sleepless nights. The 4th was described as "ok" by the users. We were a group of active, healthy 60-somethings and most everyone had difficulty sleeping. One bedroom had no closet, one had a closet but no shelving personal belongings. Also, the bedrooms lack good lighting, side tables, and other amenities that would make a stay there much more pleasant. If the beds had been decent, I would have given the rental higher ratings. I would not recommend this rental to friends.
Relaxing with lots to do
A large home with lots of room. Downstairs is perfect for kids with TV and couches to go with the two bedrooms. The home is dated but was just fine for our vacation with three parts of the family all getting together.
The deck could use some TLC and a couple of the beds could use updating (one super hard, one super spongy). Also, the big beautiful windows kind of go to waste because trees have been allowed to grow up in front of them so you really don't have a view off the deck or from the inside. The ad photo makes it look like it has a great view from the house. Also there is a bbq which isn't listed in the property listing and when I called the property manager prior to our trip they said there wasn't one. Not having access to a BBQ on a summer trip kind of changes food plans. Anyhow, there was one although I wasn't sure if we were suppose to use it since it wasn't listed and the property manager said that there wouldn't be one. Just maybe add it to the listing if it's available.
Overall though it was fine -- we used the pool which the kids loved and it's walking distance for older kids. Saw lots of deer. Loved the fact that they provided a bunch of fans (weather was cool so heat wasn't a problem). I would recommend going to Suttle Lake - rent kayaks or mountain bikes (lots of trails).
We would go there again.
COSO home in Sisters
excellent location for the 3 courses played in the Central Oregon Shootout Golf Tournament
Beautiful house!!! Beautiful weather!!!
My only 2 complaint is the walk way to the house was not shoveled snow at least 2feet. 3 of us fell trying to walk including me, 74years old. This could cost you large amounts if we were that type. The other thing the house said wood burnin stove but no mention of no wood. So we were not prepare to buy and cut wood. We would loved to have had a fire. If these things are taking care of we would love to rent the house again. Thanks Charlotte
The late winter, record-breaking, snow storm hindered many of our Central Oregon communities. Snow removal work crews were challenged with the volume that came down so quickly. Best efforts, in an emergency type response, were made to clear drive ways and walk ways; unfortunately, not everything could be accomplished prior to some guest arrivals. Our sincere apologies, An emergency type response plan is being worked on prior to next winter. Thank you!

Plenty of room, yet cozy. Beautiful layout, easy to find, good wifi.
