What a brilliant holiday and lovely apartment

Our family of three stayed in the apartment for eight nights in May / June 2018. We all loved the area, the apartment and the warm welcome and help we received throughout our stay from Juan.

My wife and I shared one room and our six year old had the other room, with ample space left in the kitchen and living room area. When the warmth allowed we made good use of the balcony, overlooking the sea.

Juan was the greatest host we've ever encountered on a holiday. Genuinely. He made sure the apartment was clean and tidy, came to meet us and say hello and was always on hand to help. He brought us a body board, sunnloungers, local bus and train routes and ideas for days out. He could not have done more.

We enjoyed El Palo, which was quiet and very Spanish, with few English people. But Malaga was different, lots of tourists and brilliant things to see. We loved the Picaso museum and flamenco dancing.

Other trips out included Nerja caves and the swimming park in Torremollenous. Both were brilliant.

Would we return? Absolutely.

Happy days in Andalusia!

Wonderful location directly at the beach with all its facilities. With a huge balcony perfect, too, for a family with little kids. Great spot for trips in all directions (Sevilla, Córdoba, Granada). Very charming owner – no wishes stay unfulfilled. We enjoyed everything and recommend it to everybody. You will spend a beautiful time there!

Very comfortable and nice apartment on great locat

We stayed in the apartment for one week with 3 persons. It was a pleasant suprise! Beautiful view, nicely decorated, very complete inventory, restaurants closeby, but still very quiet. We loved to have a morning coffee with the neighbours (restaurant). Everything is there!

Great apartment , amazing views

The apartment was amazing with an excellent location right by the beach. Carlos was really lovely , he met us at the apartment

and showed us around the spotless apartment , everything was very clean and new. It had a welcoming feel to it and of course the balcony ,where we spent many hours with a glass of wine and pan y tomato (homemade) of course listening to the waves lapping the beach. El palo is a fantastic place to stay , on the weekend the beach is busy with all the locals which just adds to the charm of this little town . Lots of fish restaurants all along the beach and of course the sardines . All I can say it was a really relaxing holiday in a lovely apartment with a charming owner . Would we go again , definitely . Lovely seaside apartment

We (2 adults) spent the second week of March 2015 in this modern, clean and fresh 2-bedroom apartment. It is well equipped, has good Wifi and lots of international channels on the satellite TV, though we could only find 3 English language (news) channels. But that’s not what we had come for.

The main attraction for us was the property’s location about 40 metres from the sea. You can enjoy the sound of (mostly) gentle waves by day and night from the large balcony. Although the area was busy on our first Sunday, at this time of year almost all the local bars close at 7pm and after that you just get a few joggers and dog-walkers. The nights were still quite cold, so we didn’t sit out for long and the electric heaters supplied kept the flat cosy inside. The photos do give an accurate impression.

There were only a few, minor negatives: I found the mattress in the small (single) bedroom a bit hard and occasionally I was disturbed by noise from the busier road behind the property. The lighting in the living room felt a bit dingy, and we had problems getting the shower to work properly (but once you are familiar with the controls, it turns out to be an excellent shower indeed). The bathroom itself is very, very small; just big enough for one person (and we are small ourselves). I think someone of a larger build would find it a bit uncomfortable. There is no separate toilet (as suggested in the “Facilities” summary) and the bathroom should really be called a shower room. The rooms are not especially large; I would estimate that the large balcony has been included in the declared floor area of 60 m².

The walk from the apartment along the sea front into Malaga is very pleasant, but it is 6 km to the cathedral and took us about 1 ¼ hours. However, there are frequent buses (No. 3 or 11) that take only 20-25 minutes, and it’s only a 5-minute walk to the nearest bus stop in Carretera Almeria, where you’ll also find a supermarket and lots of other shops.

Carlos, the owner, made us feel very welcome and the bottle of wine and water on arrival was very much appreciated (tip: a bottle of milk is helpful, too), as were the condiments in the kitchen cupboards. All in all, we had a very enjoyable time in this sunny apartment and would highly recommend it for 2-3 people (did not try the sofa bed in the living room). We may well be back.

the apartment was new and very very clean, aslo just at 3 metres from the beach , all the local people were super nice and i loved my holiday over there ,
